I'd suggest you stay with a single package - much easier to maintain when you dig into the stuff deeper than you initially wanted to, just choose the one you are most comfortable with. For me it's postfix if overriding parameters in master.cf isn't flexible enough for you have a look at http://advosys.ca/papers/postfix-instance.html it shows how to create multiple instances of postfix with totally independent configurations. hth martin -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. My question is, is there a way (short of virtualized servers) of installing multiple MTAs on one computer, so that they could pass mail between them, and so that which one handles a particular message is determined by whence the message came? Are you suggesting that there are security concerns with Exim? Doug. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: Multiple MTAs?
Thanks. I've decided, in that case, that I shall install Postfix.
