Yes .. it did, but they want to use 1.4 exclusive in the further
releases. :(
This will mean, that we will have no OpenOffice.org for PPC for a long
time. But this is not sure in this moment.

I wish Sun/OOo developer want to drop Java support in OOo in the future!

Was that with OOo or SO?
In Woody I first tried 1.1 which didn't work. Earlyer I have experienced
OOo not accepting 1.4 in SuSE and in W2k.

FYI in Sun's world, the middle version number is the "major" one.
That is, jdk 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 are all majorly different.  At the
java level, 1.2 and 1.3 are the closest to each other, but they made
major language and library changes between the other versions.
