Yup. For 'dbm' substitute 'hash' and it should work. I suppose the
precompiled debian doesn't have dbm support turned on.
(You have to use 'hash' both in the FEATURE macro and when you create
the database with
makemap hash /etc/virtusertable < /etc/virtusertable
