Look in your /var/cache/apt/archives, one of previous versions of package may 
stay there.
If yes, you can install it through 'dpkg -i

Then use package from sid until problem with xserver is gone.

Nice extortion! :) But now I can see it has already been reported
(#511018). It would be nice if you could still mail me the .deb. :)
