I just need to know which part of SSL may be misconfigured that may be causing this error and how I can fix it. I am running Debian Sid with lynx 2.8.5-1 and openssl 0.9.7d-1. There is no misconfiguration of SSL or lynx. Go to http://lynx.isc.org/ and follow the 'current development' link for some documentation. To alter the behaviour of lynx see the end of /etc/lynx.cfg.
