Obs.: No caso dos sistemas M$ Ruindows, assim como Ubuntu Linux e outros, a configuração padrão já envia o nome da máquina para o DHCP, o que não é o caso da Debian, na qual tem-se que configurar explicitamente no arquivo /etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf, como mostrei na mensagem anterior. Hallo Liste, seit einiger Zeit beobachte ich hier ein seltsames Geschehen. Wenn ich versuche, einen nicht existierenden Host anzupingen, werden diese Pings scheinbar auf meine Domain x2017.homelinux.org weitergeleitet. Das sieht dann z. B. so aus: ping dhdjfdjkfjdj.de PING x2017.homelinux.org (84.162.146.231) 56(84) bytes of data. 64 bytes from p54A292E7.dip0.t-ipconnect.de (84.162.146.231): icmp_seq=1 ttl=254 time=0.928 ms 64 bytes from p54A292E7.dip0.t-ipconnect.de (84.162.146.231): icmp_seq=2 ttl=254 time=0.862 ms 64 bytes from p54A292E7.dip0.t-ipconnect.de (84.162.146.231): icmp_seq=3 ttl=254 time=0.860 ms 64 bytes from p54A292E7.dip0.t-ipconnect.de (84.162.146.231): icmp_seq=4 ttl=254 time=0.860 ms Mein Netzwerk ist aufgebaut aus einem Debian-Router, der sich über einen Hardwarerouter ins Netz verbindet sowie zwei Clients, zeus und poseidon, wobei ersterer meine Workstation, poseidon mein Server ist. Von den Clients aus tritt obiges auf, wenn ich vom Router aus versuche, dhdjfdjkfjdj.de anzupingen, heißt es unknown host. Leider habe ich keine Ahnung, welche Informationen noch nützlich sein könnten, welche Dateien evtl. die Einstellungen für diese Fälle beinhalten etc., weshalb ich für einige Ansatzpunkte, Stichworte oder auch konkrete Lösungsvorschläge dankbar wäre. Hola: Estoy intentando instalar postgresql (por lo del facturalux), y no para de darme errores, independientemente de la versión con que lo intente. En /etc/hostname ¿hay que seguir también algún criterio concreto, o el error está en algún otro lado? Je me répond à moi-même, désolé pour le bruit, en fait j'avais deux lignes dans mon /etc/hosts qui contenaient 127.0.0.1 puis le nom de la machine, localhost, etc... j'ai tout rassemblé sur une seule ligne, un reboot et ça fonctionne à présent. Bonjour à tous, J'ai un petit souci avec mes interfaces réseau. Lorsque je configure les adresses de mes cartes soit au travers etherconf soit directement avec ifconfig j'obtient au final l'erreur suivante: SIODLERT eth1: Unknown host. En chechant un peut j'ai vu que cela pouvez être du à un conflit d'irq. Je regarde das var log messages pour voir s'il y a pb de ce côté... rien (les irqs assignées sont 17 et 18). J'essaye en retirant l'ACPI (désactivé depuis le bios)... rien. Et tout cela parce que au début je voulais faire un partage de con -nexion internet (j'ai une autre machine avec laquelle j'avais jamais eu le moindre soucis de ce coté). J'ai un noyaux qui supporte Netfilter et, pour faire simple dans un premier temps, je me suis contenter d'un: iptables -A FORWARD iptables -A POSTROUTING -t nat -o eth1 -j MASQUERADE apres avoir ajouter un ip_forward=yes dans /etc/network/options (la connexion se fait via un modem ethernet directement branché sur eth1). Ou sont les erreurs! Une route manquante (me souviens pas en avoir eu besoin avant (juste eth1 = gw pour eth0) (3 jours que suis dessus et là je sens que je vais finir par bouffer du silicium si personne ne m'aide :-$ ) Merci. A oui quelqu'un a-t'il eu des pb avec le controleur gigabit d'intel (j'ai du le désativer dans le bios car il bloque la déterction des autres interfaces réseau). Unknown host on outgoing emails since upgrade
I upgraded Slink to Potato but still use smail because I can't get exim to work with fetchmail. I also use mutt. Only one of my 3 ISPs works properly. I can send mail out from Freeserve but from the others the mail is rejected with Unknown host. There must be something wrong with my configuration but what? Hi, i installed smail from the unstable tree. I havn't any idea how to configre smail. When I installed Slackware half a year ago I configured nothing and it worked. Now I answered the some questions while installing smail, but any mail to any host (except on my own machine) is returned to sender.
