Icedove (aka Thunderbird) has all kinds of views, incluing  unified
Inbox view (without physically moving the mails to one inbox). Menu for
setting is "View" -> "Folders" -> "Unified". Never used it, so I don't
know if like-named subfolders will also be unified, but my guess is yes.

KMail-Trinity.  I didn't realise that it was unusual.  My mail goes where I 
tell it, and I have one inbox only.  I do sub-sort, but that is my choice and 
according to function, not according to mail account.

Gnus (which runs inside Emacs editor) can have that through its virtual
group feature. Any groups (i.e. folders) can be combined.

Use of fetchmail with multiple poll account lines in a .fetchmailrc file 
can do that.
