I don't think there is a Debian  package for kde. You have to get it
somewhere else, try www.kde.org

They're on KDE's ftp site.  Debian won't distribute KDE binaries based on
pre-2.0 (read: all) versions of Qt.  Qt 2.0 is currently in beta testing,
and when it's released it will use a license that works with Debian.  This
will allow Debian to distribute KDE binary packages.

Don't bother getting the KDE 1.0 packages.  Get 1.1pre-2; they're stable
and much nicer.
