Körde just dist-upgrade på min sid-burk och fick beroende problem som
jag inte vet hur jag ska få orning på.
#apt-get -f install ger mig följande:

Testa att tabort dessa packeten först, för du behöver väl inte både 2.2
och 2.3 versionerna?

Men inget verkar fungera.
Vad jag än gör med apt-get, install remove så listar den upp detta
beroende problem.

Jepp, samma paket. Startade upp synaptic och kör beroende problem med
detta program och det verkar funka än så länge, det håller på för fullt
just nu.

Vänta en dag (eller två) så kommer det nya paket som löser det här problemet.
Eller så drar du hem dem själv från http://incoming.debian.org/.

I just ran dist-upgrade on my sid-box and I got problems with:
python2.3-glade2, python2.3-gnome2, python2.3-gtk2  python2.3-pyorbit
and got a suggestion to run #apt-get -f install to fix it.
This is the output of #apt-get -f install after I accept the install of the above 
packages.

Since they're not crucial packages (by crucial, I mean things like bash,
and init), I would suggest forcing the removal of all of them, and then
apt-get the new ones.

versuch erstmal apt-get -s ... um zu sehen, was sonst noch alles schief geht
und probiers dann mal zusammen mit --fix-broken und im Notfall mit einer der
Force-Optionen (siehe manpage).

E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

It appears that dpkg is trying to create a 'diversion' from
/usr/lib/kde2/kio_https.la to /usr/lib/kde2/kio_https-nossl.la by
kdelibs3-crypto.  However, /usr/lib/kde2/kio_https.la is a symlink to
/etc/alternatives/kio_https.la which actually points back to
/usr/lib/kde2/kio_https-nossl.la.

I have tried moving /usr/lib/kde2/kio_https* out of the way, but that
did not work.  I have moved them back to where they are supposed to
be.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I too gave /var 30MB when installing Debian for the 1st time.
I think it is worth mentioning because I took this figure from the Debian-FAQ. 
I think it should be changed before potato is released. In view of today disk 
sizes I would change it to 100MB.
Some other changes I would do for the figures are to change the 450MB that is 
recommended there for /usr to 750MB; and 50MB for the swap to 100MB.

download all of their dependencies as well.
 
 -- Symbolically link a directory on a larger partition to

 -- Mount a bigger/different disk on /var/cache/apt/archives.
 
 -- Repartition so you have a bigger /var (bleah!).
 
 The third option here is probably the easiest and most likely to be

error message when typing apt-get dist-upgrade:

E: Sorry, you don't have enough free space in /var/cache/apt/archives/

Do I have too small a partition, is that the problem? What can I do to fix
this?
