Almost certainly the rescue disk is shot. Download a fresh copy, and write it to a new floppy. error with rescue disk
hello, When I try to boot the rescue disk (to install debian 2.0), I get the following errors. Partition check: hda: hda1 hda2 < hda5 > RAMDISK: Compressed image found at block 0 crc errorVFS: Mounted root (minix filesystem). init: error in loading shared libraries libnewt.so.0.21: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Then it just sits there. It doesn't freeze (I can still do shift-page up/down). Anyone know what the problem is? Thanks, Aaron Walker
