Just buy an enclosure and an OEM drive from Newegg, slap them
together, and you're all set.

I'm trying to find info on external firewire drives to be formated into 
Ext3. Can anyone recommend some that are good for Etch, Ubunto 7.10, and

For best results, avoid the Internet and big box retailers.  Go
support your local entreprenuers and bike over to your locally-owned
neighborhood computer shop instead.
