But that's the problem. The thee-dot menu, Settings provides access only to You and Google, which is what background color and avatar I want. I can't be sure Chromium works exactly the same way, but in Google Chrome: Open the three-button menu, and go to Settings. Click Appearance. Turn on the slider for "Use system title bars and borders".
fluxbox: appliaction lacks frame
Usually when I start an application under fluxbox it has a frame, At top is the application name and buttons to hide or maximize and there is a left scrollbar. I installed Chromium and it lacks the top frame and left scrollbar.
