nullmodem connection

Hello everybody,

To make the install of the Linux packages at my ThinkPad (no cdrom or internet 
connection, only floppy drive) more comfortable I decided to connect the 
ThinkPad to my PC over a nullmodem connection. 
My question: What is the easiest way to do this? I have already installed the 
basis system of Debian and now I am beginning the installation of the different 
packages.
