The LSB suggests standards for Linux.  Linux doesn't include a web
browser, that's not part of the operating system, nor is it a necessary
tool for use of the operating system.

Your beef is with a bunch of applications.

Oh; and not everybody wants all their browsers to share the same
plugins.  Especially Netscape 4.x and Mozilla/Galeon.

thanks dave!

i took a look at mozilla... flash wasn't working either... did a locate
mozilla | grep plugin and found where mozilla plugins go... put
ShockwaveFlash.class and libflashplayer.so files in there and flash now
works in galeon!

awesome! not that i'm a big fan of flash, but i'm thrilled to have no
more error messages!
