Re: zope problems
I did the suggested permission changes in /var/lib/zope making it writtable by www-data, but without luck. You probably did it (but I have to ask anyway:-) but did you create a superuser account in /var/lib/zope/access? -- Regards, | Upgrade your old Windows machine to Linux and . | experience *real* savings, reliability, and Randy | stability. zope problems
Hi, I installed zope and can't get it to run properly. Using the rewrite directive found in README.Debian.gz I was able to browse the doc's in http://localhost/Zope/. The problem is that if I try to call the management screen: Netscape never gets a return page; I can wait for minutes and nothing. Using the suggested http://localhost:8080/ doesn't work. I have the following error: -- Zope has encountered an error while publishing this resource. Error Type: TypeError Error Value: call of non-function (type module I did the suggested permission changes in /var/lib/zope making it writtable by www-data, but without luck. Any hints in what's happening here.
