Hallo Liste!
Ich möchte gerne einem device (in diesem Fall: eth0) mehrere IP-Adressen
zuweisen, z.B.:
ifconfig eth0:0 192.168.0.1
ifconfig eth0:1 192.168.0.2
ifconfig eth0:2 192.168.0.3
ifconfig eth0:3 192.168.0.4
ifconfig eth0:4 192.168.0.5
VOR dieser Aufgabe sah meine "/etc/network/interfaces" so aus:
# /etc/network/interfaces -- configuration file for ifup(8), ifdown(8)
# The loopback interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
# This entry was created during the Debian installation
# (network, broadcast and gateway are optional)
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.0.1
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 192.168.0.0
broadcast 192.168.0.255
Meine "/etc/network/interfaces" habe ich so geändert:
# /etc/network/interfaces -- configuration file for ifup(8), ifdown(8)
# The loopback interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
# This entry was created during the Debian installation
# (network, broadcast and gateway are optional)
auto eth0:0
auto eth0:1
auto eth0:2
auto eth0:3
auto eth0:4
iface eth0:0 inet static
address 192.168.0.1
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 192.168.0.0
broadcast 192.168.0.255
iface eth0:1 inet static
address 192.168.0.2
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 192.168.0.0
broadcast 192.168.0.255
iface eth0:2 inet static
address 192.168.0.3
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 192.168.0.0
broadcast 192.168.0.255
iface eth0:3 inet static
address 192.168.0.4
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 192.168.0.0
broadcast 192.168.0.255
iface eth0:4 inet static
address 192.168.0.5
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 192.168.0.0
broadcast 192.168.0.255
Leider hat dies nicht funktioniert.
Auch die Angabe
auto eth0
anstelle von
auto eth0:0
auto eth0:1
auto eth0:2
auto eth0:3
auto eth0:4
führte zu keiner Besserung.
1.) Hat jemand eine Lösung für mich?
2.) WARUM ist es überhaupt sinnvoll, einem device mehrere IP-Adressen
zuzuordnen? (Ich benötige dies nicht unbedingt - mich interessiert es
einfach nur..)
Vielen Dank für Eure Mühe.
Gruß,
Thilo
