kernel 2.4.20, AVM fritz dsl

2003-03-26 Diskussionsfäden Christian David Ott

Hallo Liste!

Meine AVM FritzDSL Karte lief mit kernel 2.4.18 einwandfrei. Nach einem Upgrade auf
2.4.20 und dem Neukompilieren des AVM Treibers (fcdsl.o) hängt sich das ganze System
jedoch beim insmod auf:

aus dmesg:

CAPI-driver Rev 1.1.4.1: loaded
capifs: Rev 1.1.4.1
capi20: started up with major 68
kcapi: capi20 attached
capi20: Rev 1.1.4.2: started up with major 68 (middleware+capifs)
fcdsl: AVM FRITZ!Card DSL driver, revision 0.2
fcdsl: (fcdsl built on Jan 10 2003 at 17:18:38)
fcdsl: Loading...
fcdsl: Driver 'fcdsl' attached to stack
kcapi: driver fcdsl attached
fcdsl: Auto-attaching...

... und hier ist Schluss, das System hängt.

Irgendwer eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte?

 Christian

Re: kernel 2.4.20, AVM fritz dsl

Hallo Christian,

Bei mir läufts bestens mit 2.4.20.
Treiberversion: 03.10.05
Build: 02.09.06

Irgendwer eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte?
Nicht wirklich, aber einen Tip:

 CONFIG_MODVERSIONS=y
diese Option solltest du deaktivieren, dann gibts auch nicht mehr
das Problem mit den unresolved symbols beim Laden von fcdsl.o

ungefähr so:
# CONFIG_MODVERSIONS is not set

danach erst Kernel dann fcdsl.o neukompilieren.

was mir sonst noch einfällt:

- Module in der richtigen Reihenfolge geladen
- was sagt capiinit, capiinfo, drdsl und lsmod

so siehts bei mir im Log aus:
