Już chyba wiem w czym tkwi problem. Sprawdziłem różnice konfiguracji  
dpkg-repack w wersji
1.32 i 1.35. W pierwszym przypadku dpkg-repack sprawdzał plik  
'packagename.list' ,a
w drugim sprawdza czy są pliki kontrolne. Paczka nie mogła zostać  
stworzona bo pakiet nie

dostarcza plików kontrolnych.

Próbowałem kilka razy. Początkowo przypuszczałem błąd pakietu ,ale  
instalowałem również pakiet w squeeze
i dpkg-repack potrafi prawidłowo odtworzyć pakiet a w "sid" już ma  
problemy.

dpkg-repack błędna informacja.

Mam taki problem w 'sid', że dpkg-repack informuje iż pakiet  
decibel-audio-player

nie jest zainstalowany co jest sprzeczne z informacją od dpkg -s.
