Problema ao sincronizar palm com kernel 2.6.5
Pessoal Tenho um palm M105, que sincroniza com o micro pela porta serial. Usava o kernel 2.4.24 e estava tudo ok. Atualizei para o kernel 2.6.2. Bom, depois disso, quando tento usar o pilot-link ou o jpilot para atualizar, recebo a seguinte mensagem: Unable to bind to port: /dev/pilot Please use --help for more information Unable to bind to port: /dev/pilot Please use --help for more information Já olhei o help e lá não diz nada sobre isso. O kernel 2.6.5 que uso foi compilado por mim. Alguém sabe me dizer o que tenho que ativar para que a porta serial funcione? Não queria usar o 2.4.24 toda a vez que quiser atualizar o palm. Ícones e Janelas no GTK - Gnome 2.4
Prezados Senhores, Estou utilizando o Gnome 2.4.1, em cima do Debian testing. O problema é alguns programas estão com algumas configurações estranhas. O Sylpheed só abre com window 1059x7xx apesar do sylpheedrc estar configurado para 789x518. Meu monitor está em 800x600. Já tentei configurar com o gconf mas não obtive êxito. Da mesma forma a barra de ferramentas está com ícones muito grandes. Um problema parecido está aparecendo no Gnumeric: os ícones são tão grandes que parte da barra de ferramentas sumiu. Já tentei reduzir o tamanho das fontes da barra de ferramentas mas os ícones continuam ocupando todo o espaço das barras de ferramentas. Sei que o assunto é meio batido mas não encontrei solução. Se alguém puder ajudar, obrigado. José Adilson

Olá Caio. Eu costume utilizar o cvs pelo Emacs, ou então por linha de comando mesmo. Mas existe o lincvs, é gráfico e muito legal. Instalação de Iptables Sem CD
Removi o Iptables da minha máquina, agora quando vou instalá-lo de novo ele me pede para colocar o cd, mas ue já retirei o drive de cd da máquina e não quero colocá-lo de volta, como faço para instalar o iptables sem CD? Outro problema de DNS
Ola, Eu mandei uma pergunta sobre DNS há alguns dias. Bom, o problema agora é que o servidor de DNS parece que não se resolve para a rede interna, apenas para quem está fora da rede do servidor dns. Alguém sabe o que pode ser? O servidor DNS é o que recebe o sinal da internet e distribui para a rede daqui. Há o rinetd que redireciona as portas (80, 25, 110 etc) para os respectivos servidores. Talvez pode ser o resolv.conf, que está assim: search orgsystem.com.br nameserver 192.168.1.240 nameserver 200.210.7.50 nameserver 200.210.28.200 Alguma idéia? Obrigado

Samba
Olá a todos! Gostaria de saber se alguem já configurou o samba 3 no debian, sempre configurei sem muitos problemas em outras distros mas tive problemas com o debian. Eu estou instalando o samba 3 com suporte a lixeira (recylce) mas ele da um erro na hora de carregar o modulo recycle.so (mesmo ele existindo e estando em /urs/lib/samba/vfs/recycle.so). Se alguém que ja configurou o samba 3 ou q tem idéia do que possa estar acontecendo puder me ajudar, eu agradeço. Márcio Oliveira.

acentuacao no windowmaker
Olá pessoal, estou com problemas de acentuação em uma máquina que usa o WindowMaker. No KDM é possível acentuar normalmente (funciona correto), portanto creio que o X esteja configurado ok e o problema seja alguma configuração do WindowMaker mesmo. A máquina roda o Woody + WindowMaker + teclado padrão americano (US International). Alguém tem alguma dica ? Dosemu com som
Galera, Instalei o dosemu e configurei o dosemu.conf para utilizar o som "emulated" e coloquei os endereços certos da minha placa SBAWE64, mas quando instalo jogos em DOS ele não encontra o som... Sera que e necessario o driver dela no dosemu? E mais estranho porque o mouse funciona sem driver. Se alguem je teve alguma experiencia mande um aresposta. Tenho o Velox configurado no Debian, executei o pppoeconf e consegui configurá-lo com sucesso, para executar a autenticação preciso executar um script (perl id-velox.pl), como faço para executar este script na inicialização? kernel image atrapalhando o apt-get
Olá, Tentei instalar o kernel-image-2.6.5-k7 mas o pacote não está se instalando. Já usei o apt-get -f install e não resolveu. Não desejo mais o pacote e não consigo remove-lo por que não está instalado. O pior é que quando vou instalar alguma coisa ele tenta se instalar. Alguma sugestão para remove-lo? dpkg-reconfigure ele vai te perguntar algumas coisas que ele pergunta na instalação, tem uma hora que ele vai te pedir se você deseja que o serviço seja inicializado no boot ai você tem que dizer que sim. Title: Acentuação Lista, Estou com problema a configuração do teclado ABNT2 com cedilha, a parte de acentuação não funciona. Uso o Debian 3.0, usei o dpkg-reconfigure console-data, baixei o kbd, descompactei para default.map, descomentei a linha do da console_font etc/kbd/config.
