alguém aqui tem uma GeForce FX5200 e conseguiu rodar ela no debian?

Já testei 3 kernels diferentes e não reconhece nem a pau a GeForce 
no lspci ele diz que a placa nvidia é unknow e nada nciona e olha que já 
fiz muita coisa!


se alguém tem e conseguiu poderia me dizer qual foi a mágica?

ddcprobe e última tentativa

Olá amigos,

Alguém poderia por favor mandar para [EMAIL PROTECTED] o ddcprobe? 
por favor, o apt não acha nem com reza brava com uma sources.lists 
quilometrica que peguei do kurumin, nem achei pra fazer o download do 
ddcprobe.deb e suas bibliotecas requeridas... Eu agradeceria de coração!


Esta é a minha última tentativa com a placa MSI GEFORCE FX5200 no 
debian, já fiz o possível e o impossível...Instalei  o glx-server da 
nvidia,
Testei xfree, xorg, usei xresprobe, xdebconfigurator, e todas a s libs 
que vc possa imaginar, ou eu sou retardado, burro e incompetenteou a 
fx5200 da msi não rola no debian woody 3.0 r2, não sei qual é o maculelê 
que o morimoto fez no kurumin para que a geforce fosse reconhecida...


Porra tem 15 dias que apanho dela no debian e nada!!! tá me dando no 
saco já,  já  instalei o debian 2 vezes pensando q fosse algum bug tosco 
e nada


alguém tem essa placa da MSI a GeForce FX5200 (MODELO TD128) e conseguiu 
rodar ela no debian? tá tudo funcionando,  no debian menos ela.. nem o 
modo vesa pega!! o malddito erro no xf86PciInfo.h. (acho q aé assim q 
escreve) me odeia tenho certeza disto


Já segui diversas receitas que os amigos mandaram aqui e seguit 
tutoriais da net e não deu certo pelo menos para mim,  se alguém poder 
me ajudar eu agradeceria muito. tô quase desistindo do debian, sério 
mesmo. No slack roda, no gentoo, roda, no suse roda, entre outros...

msi geforce fx5200 +debian2r2 + xfree86 = erro tosco

O Erro propriamente dito:

Chamo o xf86config e vou seguindo os passos normalmente e configurando 
de acordo com o meu computador, depois de finalizado e salvo o arquivo, 
chamo o XFree86 -configure para criar o arquivo .new e fazer pequenos 
ajustes e depois renomeá-lo para XFree86config-4 ele me dá o seguinte erro:


FATAL SERVER ERROR
XFree86 has found a valid card configuration.
Unfortunately the apropriate data has not been added to xf86PciInfo.h.
Please forward 'scanpci -v' output to XFree86 support team.


O que será que poderia fazer? alguem já passou por isto?
