Do man do XF86Config (atenção com as maiúsculas!): In the Debian system, the only supported location for the XFree86 4.x server configuration file is /etc/X11/XF86Config-4. The XFree86 server program will look in a variety of locations, but /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 is the only one supported by Debian for xserver-xfree86. beleza galera, ja está funcionando o modo grafico. instalei as fontes e deu tudo certo. mas acho que meu X esta buscando meu arquivo XF86Config no seguinte caminho : /root/XF86Config . Então como eu faço pra funcionar o que esta em /etc/X11/XF86Config?? Obrigado.. Dê o boot com ele 3. Monte o diskete ou uma partição qualquer de seu HD 4.
