Prueba a meterte en la carpeta que has descomprimido, y hacer make make install, y luego ejecuta. suerte Hola, Intento instalar esta última versión y no lo consigo. Descargo en una carpeta temporal el archivo .tar, lo descomprimo, entro en la carpeta thunderbird/ que se crea y ejecuto ./thunderbird-bin, obteniendo: /thunderbird-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libxpcom_core.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory He intentado copiar toda la carpeta a /usr/lib/ y luego hacer un ln -s en /usr/bin/ llamado /usr/bin/thunderbird a /usr/lib/thunderbird/thunderbird-bin y lo que consigo en una fallo de segmentación. No hay ningún Makefile en ella. No resulta. Deberias revisar que paquete es el que instala la libreria que te hace falta como ya te han dicho a mi me huele a dependencias que necesitas.
