Añade el modulo ne2k o ne2kpci que son las compatibles con las rtl8029.

EL 8139 es unchip para tarjetas de red 10/100, RJ45. El 8029 es
anterior, sólo 10 y RJ45/Coaxial.
Instala este:

PCI NE2000 and clones support

Uso Woody y compilando un nuevo kernel para mi AMD K7 he encontrado este
problema.

Tengo seleccionados en el kernel:

RealTek RTL-8139 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter Support
Support for older RTL-8129/8130 boards

Aun y así mi adaptador RTL-8029 no es reconocido.

Instale todo el sistema por Internet utilizando la distribución Compact
de woody que si configuraba automáticamente la tarjeta.

Alguna idea?
