no puedo arrancar en modo gráfico en un HP Pavilion; he probado el
programa de configuración XFree86, pero igualmente da errores.
La tarjeta gráfica integrada en S3SavagePro, el monitor TFT es hp
Pavilion f50s (no sé los rangos porque ni el minimanual ni la pág web
los especifica) y el procesador un AMD Athlon XP(2000+)

Yo tengo el mismo monitor que tú, y me funciona con el siguiente fichero
de configuración... ahora bien, yo estoy en "sarge" y el servidor X que
