Bug#134137: packaging fcptools for debian

Maintenance has been taken over by Jay Oliveri (Jay Oliveri <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>), who is doing an excellent job with tidying up, autotooling etc. Please liase with Jay, but I'd be grateful if you can keep me in the loop. Source has been moved under the Freenet project CVS, which you can browse at http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/freenet/Contrib/fcptools/ If I can be of any help, please let me know. Lastly, are you targetting it just for Debian Unstable, or are there plans for it to move to Debian Stable in due course? Regards David
Bug#136844: comments on your ARM emulator
Hello! I've been looking at your ARM emulator, which seems very nice. Really impressed by the speed, it's relatively fast when compared to other (i386) emulators like plex86 and bochs. I'm currently creating debian packages of it, would you like arcem to be included in the debian distribution? If your program is included in debian, you'll benefit from some useful feedback, including bug reports and (sometimes) patches. Looking forward for your response, please keep the CC to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in your message. Thanks, -- Robert Millan Debian GNU/* user zeratul2 wanadoo eshttp://getyouriso.dyndns.org/

Instead of having to configure firewall rules, gnome-lokkit asks a small number of simple questions and writes a firewall rule set for you. Gnome-lokkit is not designed to configure arbitary firewalls. To make it simple to understand, it is solely designed to handle typical dialup user and cable modem setups. Bug#136736: O: host -- Utility for Querying DNS Servers
Package: wnpp Severity: normal This package provides the NIKHEF version of the program 'host'. When I adopted the bind packages a long time ago, a previous maintainer had picked up this version of 'host' and folded it into the bind source tree so that it would be part of the 'dnsutils' binary package. When BIND 9.X was released and I restructured the BIND packaging, I broke this out as a separate package. More recently, I've created the package bind9-host to deliver the version of 'host' that comes with the BIND 9.X source from the ISC. The two versions of host have similar but different options. I prefer the one from the ISC because it works better for me than this one. The NIKHEF version was last released upstream in 1999. It has a number of open bugs, some of which I think will be difficult to resolve. Please be sure to have a look at the open bugs in the BTS and the sourcecode to the package before you decide to adopt this one... Bdale
