X-Score: 245 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Package: wnpp Version: N/A; reported 2002-06-28 Severity: Normal This module implements a least recently used (LRU) cache in memory through a tie interface. Any time data is stored in the tied hash, that key/value pair has an entry time associated with it, and as the cache fills up, those members of the cache that are the oldest are removed to make room for new entries. So, the cache only remembers the last written entries, up to the size of the cache. This can be especially useful if you access great amounts of data, but only access a minority of the data a majority of the time. The libtie-cache-perl package is used by mooix and libapache-asp-perl. -- Piotr Roszatycki, Netia Telekom S.A..''`. mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] : :' : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] `. `' `- --- Received: (at 151255-close) by bugs.debian.org; 7 Jul 2002 05:35:38 + From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Jul 07 00:35:38 2002 Return-path: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Received: from auric.debian.org [206.246.226.45] (mail) by master.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.12 1 (Debian)) id 17R4ht-0001CN-00; Sun, 07 Jul 2002 00:35:37 -0500 Received: from katie by auric.debian.org with local (Exim 3.12 1 (Debian)) id 17R4Q1-0003rw-00; Sun, 07 Jul 2002 01:17:09 -0400 From: Stephen Zander [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: $Revision: 1.24 $ Subject: Bug#151255: fixed in libtie-cache-perl 0.17-1 Message-Id: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sender: Archive Administrator [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Sun, 07 Jul 2002 01:17:09 -0400 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of libtie-cache-perl, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: libtie-cache-perl_0.17-1.diff.gz to pool/main/libt/libtie-cache-perl/libtie-cache-perl_0.17-1.diff.gz libtie-cache-perl_0.17-1.dsc to pool/main/libt/libtie-cache-perl/libtie-cache-perl_0.17-1.dsc libtie-cache-perl_0.17-1_all.deb to pool/main/libt/libtie-cache-perl/libtie-cache-perl_0.17-1_all.deb libtie-cache-perl_0.17.orig.tar.gz to pool/main/libt/libtie-cache-perl/libtie-cache-perl_0.17.orig.tar.gz A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached. Bug#112753: About giFT
On Sun, Jul 07, 2002 at 06:51:31PM +0200, Alexis Rimbaud wrote: Hi, I've seen that you sent an ITP for maintaining giFT. I wonder if you still intend to package it for Debian because you sent the ITP many days ago and there still is no giFT package in Debian... I'm interested in maintaining giFT but I'm not yet a Debian Developer and I don't want to steal you job. Keep me informed. Cheers, Alexis Sorry for the delay in replying - just got back from the UKUUG Linux Developer conference in Bristol. Yes, I am still doing this - I have made packages. What I am waiting for is a release, because until then the code base changes too fast, and stripped binary packages in Debian will cause backwards (in)compatibility problems with the existing network (and/or they would need to be updated infeasibly often) or they would cause many bugs to be reported which were either fixed, or would be impossible to diagnose due to the lack of debugging symbols. I may set up a daily snapshot deb build system in a week or two, until then you'll just have to be patient. For now I'm off to Edinburgh for 4 days... The ATerm library forms a comprehensive procedural interface which enables creation and manipulation of ATerms in C. The ATerm implementation is based on maximal subterm sharing and automatic garbage collection. . A binary exchange format for the concise representation of ATerms (sharing preserved) allows the fast exchange of ATerms between applications. In a typical application---parse trees which contain considerable redundant information---less than 2 bytes are needed to represent a node in memory, and less than 2 bits are needed to represent it in binary format. The implementation of ATerms scales up to the manipulation of ATerms in the giga-byte range. Among others, this package provides tools for unparsing and visualization of parse trees. There are also library functions and tools for flattening lexicals, lists and layout. AsFix2 with flattened lexicals, lists and layout is called AsFix2Me. This is the parse tree format that is used in the MetaEnvironment. The parser outputs parse trees or parse forests. Scannerless means that no scanner is used to tokenize the input stream. SGLR takes characters as tokens and uses a parse table that contains enough information for both the lexical and the context-free syntax. Generalized means that the parser finds all possible derivations for a certain input string. . The effect is that an SGLR parser does not complain about conflicts in the parse table. The debs are already available at deb http://debian.vip.net.pl/other unstable main I have taken the liberty to change the name of the .so and .a libraries so that any possible name conflict is resolved beforehand. -- System Information Debian Release: 3.0 Kernel Version: Linux beowulf 2.4.19-pre3-aa2 #1 Thu Mar 14 18:30:16 CET 2002 i686 unknown --- Received: (at 138796-close) by bugs.debian.org; 7 Jul 2002 21:06:13 + From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Jul 07 16:06:13 2002 Return-path: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Received: from auric.debian.org [206.246.226.45] (mail) by master.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.12 1 (Debian)) id 17RJET-00064h-00; Sun, 07 Jul 2002 16:06:13 -0500 Received: from troup by auric.debian.org with local (Exim 3.12 1 (Debian)) id 17RJ9e-0004Cr-00; Sun, 07 Jul 2002 17:01:14 -0400 From: Marek Habersack [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: $Revision: 1.17 $ Subject: Bug#138796: fixed in spidermonkey 1.5rc4a-1 Message-Id: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sender: James Troup [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Sun, 07 Jul 2002 17:01:14 -0400 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of spidermonkey, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: spidermonkey-bin_1.5rc4a-1_i386.deb to pool/main/s/spidermonkey/spidermonkey-bin_1.5rc4a-1_i386.deb spidermonkey-dev_1.5rc4a-1_i386.deb to pool/main/s/spidermonkey/spidermonkey-dev_1.5rc4a-1_i386.deb spidermonkey1_1.5rc4a-1_i386.deb to pool/main/s/spidermonkey/spidermonkey1_1.5rc4a-1_i386.deb spidermonkey_1.5rc4a-1.diff.gz to pool/main/s/spidermonkey/spidermonkey_1.5rc4a-1.diff.gz spidermonkey_1.5rc4a-1.dsc to pool/main/s/spidermonkey/spidermonkey_1.5rc4a-1.dsc spidermonkey_1.5rc4a.orig.tar.gz to pool/main/s/spidermonkey/spidermonkey_1.5rc4a.orig.tar.gz A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached. If you think it is important, I can ask the ftp-master to revoke the package and rename it. -- Kevin Rosenberg [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
