Bug#187049: O: kxmleditor -- XML Editor for KDE

2003-03-31 Thread Joerg Jaspert
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

Hi

Another one, kxmleditor is O: now.
As with the other kde package i just orphaned i havent used it for a
long time now. And havent maintained it as it should be maintained.
Upstream is active here. There is a 0.8 beta at their site
(kxmleditor.sf.net).

Description:
KXML Editor is simple program, that display and edit contents of XML
file. Left side contain tree with XML document structure, right side
contain list of attributes for selected XML element and its contents.

The one that takes this package should retitle this Bug to ITA: and
upload a KDE3 ready version of it.
If you are not a DD yet and need a sponsor i can do that.

Bug#187045: O: kimagemapeditor -- KDE-based HTML image map editor.

2003-03-31 Thread Joerg Jaspert
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

Hi

Lets orphan kimagemapeditor. I havent used it for a long time now.
To be honest i havent maintained it for a long time. Well, it doesnt
look very active upstream (kimagemapeditor.sf.net).
If you take it you should upload a KDE3 version of it.

Description:
KImageMapEditor is a tool for Linux/KDE that allows you to load an
existing image map from an HTML file, edit it, and save the new map to a
new HTML file, that includes the appropriate image tag.

It can be fully integrated with Quanta since it can generate the map to
the standard output.

If you want this package please retitle this bug to ITA and upload a
new package as soon as possible. If you are no DD yet and need a
sponsor - i can do it.

Description : Linux Userland Filesystem (preparing a better description)

LUFS is a hybrid userspace filesystem framework supporting an indefinite
number of filesystems (localfs, sshfs, ftpfs, httpfs, socketfs,
freenetfs, and nutellafs) transparently for any application. It can be
regarded as doing the same job as the VFS (virtual filesystem switch) in
the kernel: it is a switch, distributing the filesystem calls to its
supported filesystems. However, LUFS filesystems are implemented in
userspace. This would be a drawback for local filesystems where the
access speed is important, but proves to be a huge advantage for
networked filesystems where the userland flexibility is most important.

This package will be packaged similar to ftpfs: one source package for
module generation, one package with mount and other integration tools.

Regards,
Eduard.

Is it that different from LightHouseBlue, which is already in the

Bug#186978: O: agsatellite -- Audiogalaxy Satellite (installer)

2003-03-31 Thread Erik Wenzel
Package: wnpp
Version: unavailable; reported 2003-03-31
Severity: normal

I intend to orphan the agsatellite package. Audio Galaxy has quit
supporting unices for download clients.

The package description is:
The Audiogalaxy Satellite is a small and simple program that allows you
to share your music with friends and other users on Audiogalaxy.
 .
Audiogalaxy does not allow redistribution of their software. Therefore,
this package requires the user to fetch the Audiogalaxy Satellite
separately from their web site. When you install this package you will be
 guided through that process.
 .
This package installs the file AGSatellite0520-glibc21.tar.gz from the
www.audiogalaxy.com website (look for "Download Satellite").

Bug#183065: RFA: pwm -- Lightweight window manager with frames

2003-03-31 Thread David Nusinow
Hi Daniel,
I'd be more than happy to adopt pwm. It's my preferred wm, and I use
it daily. I'm not a developer yet, although I am in the NM queue. I'm
currently the maintainer of pdb2dhl and configure-debian, and while
I've never maintained a window manager before, I've looked at the code
for pwm and understand what I saw fairly well. I'd be more than happy
to give this package my time.

Ok, i have uploaded the package, but it still need to be checked by the
ftp-master and added to the override file. As soon as that is done, i
will close this bug report, but i suppose it needs to be kept open in
the meantime.
