I request an adopter for the cdbackup package.
The package description is:
 cdbackup and cdrestore are a pair of utilities designed to facilitiate
 streaming backup to and from CD-R(W) disks. Specificially, they were
 designed to work with dump/restore, but tar/cpio/whatever you want should
 work, so long as it writes to stdout for backups and reads from stdin for
 restores.

Oh, I stand corrected. I was watching closely for a new version for a
while.. then as soon as they stopped, out it comes.

Okay - that sounds reasonable. If you want to work on bbmail, then I'm
happy to work with you on that.

No, because your Maintainer: and Changed-By: lines in the .changes file
don't match exactly:

  Maintainer: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Maintainer: comes from debian/control, while Changed-By: comes from the

Bug#200473: O: pwlib -- Portable Windows Library

2003-07-08 Thread Santiago Garcia Mantinan
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

This library is mainly used by the openh323 libs to make it posible to
easily develop applications for Windows/Unix/Mac...

I believe that the person that takes this package should be the one taking
openh323.

Currently both openh323gk and GnomeMeeting seem to need the new version of
the libs for their new releases and I won't have the time needed for a
while. I can however try to help the taker if he feels the need.

Sorry :-(

1. Introduction

What is t38modem?

>From your fax application view point it's a fax modem pool.

>From your view point it's a gateway between a fax application and IP network.

2. Building

3. Examples
---

3.1. Starting
-

$ ./obj_linux_x86_r/t38modem -n -o trace.log -p ttyx0,ttyx1 --route [EMAIL
PROTECTED] --route [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Creates two modems /dev/ttyx0 and /dev/ttyx1

FreeBSD Users: You need to use -p ttypa,ttypb
   instead of  -p ttyx0,ttyx1
   Remember to replace ttyx0 with ttypa and ttyx1 with ttypb
   when following the rest of these instructions.
   This will create two modems /dev/ttypa and /dev/ttypb

Cisco Users: You additionaly need to use --old-asn and --h245tunneldisable
options.

If dialed number begins with '0' then it will be routed to local host ('0' will
be discarded).
If not then it will be routed to 172.16.33.21.

3.2. Testing (you need two consoles)

(FreeBSD users - remeber to use /dev/ttypa and /dev/ttypb with 'cu -l')

$ cu -l /dev/ttyx0  $ cu -l /dev/ttyx1
Connected.  Connected.

3.4. Example of HylaFAX modem config files

Copy HylaFAX/etc/config.ttyx to HylaFAX's etc directory

Create simbolic links:

Start HylaFAX with new modems:

$ .../faxgetty -D ttyx0

(FreeBSD users - don't forget we are using ttypa and ttypb)

4. AT commands
--

4.1. AT#CID command
---

4.1.1 calling/called number reporting
-

#CID=0  - disables calling/called number reporting (default).
#CID=10 - Enables calling/called number reporting after the first RING.

Example:

4.2. ATI command

4.2.1 calling/called number reporting
-

I8 - reports calling number for last incoming call.
I9 - reports called number for last incoming call.

Bug#179105: spamass-milter: please fix bashism in /etc/init.d/spamass-milter

2003-07-08 Thread Joost van Baal
Package: spamass-milter
Version: 0.2.0-1

Hi,

[excuse me for abusing an ITP for reporting a bug.]

I've build spamass-milter_0.2.0-1_i386.deb from
spamass-milter_0.2.0.orig.tar.gz and spamass-milter_0.2.0-1.diff.gz,
which I've downloaded from http://rzlab.ucr.edu/debian/spamass-milter/ .

In spamass-milter.init, please change

 source $DEFAULT;

in

 . $DEFAULT;

: this allows the init script to run on sysems with ash as their
/bin/sh. ash (as some other Bourne compatible shells), lacks the
"source" shell builtin.

Thanks, Bye,

Joost
