  Description : Open Text Summarizer

OTS reads a text and decides which sentences are important and which
are not. Then it creates a short summary or will highlight the main
idea in the text (the output can be HTML). OTS is m17n'd and
 works with UTF-8 encoding.

Description : A program based on karamba improving the eyecandy of KDE

SuperKaramba is a tool based on karamba that allows anyone to easily
create and run little interactive widgets on a KDE desktop. Widgets are
defined in a simple text file and can be augmented with Python code to
make them interactive.

Here are just some examples of the things that can be done:

 * Display system information such as CPU Usage, MP3 playing, etc.
 * Create cool custom toolbars that work any way imaginable.
 * Create little games or virtual pets that live on your desktop.
 * Display information from the internet, such as weather and
 * headlines.

Description : Text-based interface to the giFT file-sharing system

giFTcurs is the officially recommended frontend to giFT. It is fast and
feature rich. It needs a giFT daemon to connect to, which usually runs
on the same computer as the interface.

Robert McQueen [EMAIL PROTECTED] is my sponsor. The package will be
uploaded at the same time as giFT is uploaded. (ITP in bug #112753.)

  Description : 65(c)02 Cross Assembler

This cross-assembler makes programs for another computer that has a
6502-like CPU. This CPU has been widely used in the famous Apple II, all the
Commodore 8-Bit Computers (PET, VIC20 and a derivate in the C64) and many
others. Some are still used in one-chip microcontrollers, e.g. the Rockwell
modem chipset. All these chip share a common set of standard machine
language commands, some of them (e.g. the CMOS versions) have additional
(software) features.

Description : Flight planner and logger for glider pilots

KFLog is an OpenSource program aimed at glider pilots. It gives you a
powerful tool to plan your flight tasks and analyse your flights
afterwards. KFLog is the only flight analyser program available for
Linux to be recognized by the FAI IGC.

KFLog projects the flights on a digital vector map, that contains not
only airfields and airspaces, but a complete elevation map, roads,
cities, rivers, and lots of other interesting objects.

The latest version contains several enhancements, for example support
for more flight recorders like Filser and Garmin GPS. You can now
optimize your flights according to the online contest (OLC) rules and
upload the flight to the OLC server. KFLog can also download maps from
KFLog's map server and install them automaticly.

Bug#183553: Licence clarification

I asked Hyadan's author about the licence. His response is below.

Nikke,

Yes, I meant to make it GPL. Feel free to include it in Debian if you so
wish.

R.

 Hi,

what is the licence for Hydan? It has been suggested that Hydan should be
included in Debian GNU/Linux but for that the licence has to be free
 (such as GPL).

What mechanism is used for keeping the disks spun down? My laptop does
not need cpu frequency control (it's a crusoe), but I could use
something without noflushd's limitations.
