Bug#204555: ITP: pconsole -- parallel console shell for administering clusters
Package: wnpp Version: N/A; reported 2003-08-08 Severity: wishlist * Package name: pconsole Version : 1.0 Upstream Author : Walter de Jong [EMAIL PROTECTED] * URL : http://www.heiho.net/pconsole/index.html * License : GPL Description : parallel console shell for administering clusters pconsole allows you to connect to each node of your cluster simultaneously, and you can type your administrative commands in a specialized window that 'multiplies' the input to each of the connections you have opened. pconsole is best run from within X Windows, although it is possible to employ it without X (in console mode) as well. You need to install pconsole on only 1 machine in the cluster, this would usually be your central administrative node. -- System Information Debian Release: 3.0 Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux reypastor 2.4.21 #1 vie jun 13 22:28:10 CEST 2003 i686 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Jesus Climent | Unix SysAdm | Helsinki, Finland | pumuki.hispalinux.es GPG: 1024D/86946D69 BB64 2339 1CAA 7064 E429 7E18 66FC 1D7F 8694 6D69 -- Registered Linux user #66350 proudly using Debian Sid Linux 2.4.21 Roz, you're looking fabulous today. Bug#200580: RFS: xmms-null -- null output plugin for XMMS
I'm seeking a sponsor for my xmms-null[1] package. Description: null output plugin for XMMS XMMS output plugin which simply throws the signal away. Useful for testing and benchmarking. Also useful for nullifying the output when using a DSP plugin for broadcasting, or if you don't have a soundcard. Packages are available at these APT sources: deb http://rune.thebasement.org/debian unstable keegan deb-src http://rune.thebasement.org/debian unstable keegan An ITP bug has been filed; #200580. The Debian revision should probably be bumped up to -1, and a changelog entry which Closes: #200580 should be added, but I'd appreciate if someone could take a look at them before I add these finishing touches. The packaging is very simple, using cdbs, the common Debian build system. An ideal sponsor would be somewhat familiar with both XMMS and cdbs.
