Bug#227873: RFA: eieio, jde, semantic, speedbar, speedbar-beta
Hi tbm, > In <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Martin Michlmayr <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > mhatta: did you notice that speedbar and speedbar-beta are orphaned? > I've just considered removing speedbar-beta from the archive when I > noticed your package jde depends on it. Are you interested in these > package(s). Right, jde uses speedbar-beta, since it requires speedbar 0.14beta or later. Removing speedbar-beta ATM will make jde unusable. I'll look at the new cedet (now eieio, speedbar, semantic etc. are distributed as one "cedet" distribution) and might package it this weekend. The package description follows: UncommonSQL is a database integration kit for Common Lisp. It provides a CommonSQL-compatible interface with a functional SQL syntax and a CLOS integrated Object-to-Relational mapping. You can serialize complete CLOS objects into an RDBMS. . UncommonSQL supports a number of database backends: MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle. To use this package, you must use one such package, which will provide the cl-uncommonsql-backend package. . UncommonSQL is based on another CL database library, MaiSQL. Please get in touch with me if you want to take over the maintanence of this package. Be warned it is no longer maintained upstream as a stand-alone free-s/w package, so the new maintainer would have to deal with that as well. However, the s/w itself is still under a free license. -- ...Adam Di Carlo...<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>...http://www.onshored.com/> --- Received: (at 239298-done) by bugs.debian.org; 1 Apr 2004 14:55:08 + >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Apr 01 06:55:08 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from merkel.debian.org [192.25.206.16] (mail) by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1B93b2-0008AE-00; Thu, 01 Apr 2004 06:55:08 -0800 Received: from tbm by merkel.debian.org with local (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1B93az-00074e-00; Thu, 01 Apr 2004 07:55:05 -0700 Date: Thu, 1 Apr 2004 07:55:05 -0700 From: Martin Michlmayr <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Fixing WNPP problems Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline User-Agent: Mutt/1.3.28i Sender: Martin Michlmayr <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=0.0 required=4.0 tests=none autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: This package has been removed from the archive. -- Martin Michlmayr [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name: pmacct Version : 0.6.0 Upstream Author : Paolo Lucente <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * URL : http://www.ba.cnr.it/~paolo/pmacct/ * License : GPL Description : promiscuous mode traffic accountant pmacct is a tool designed to gather traffic information (bytes and number of packets) by listening on a promiscuous interface, which may facilitate billing, bandwidth management, traffic analysis, or creating usage graphs. . Data can be stored in memory and queried, or written to a database; storage methods are quite flexible and may aggregate totals or keep them separate. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Kernel: Linux 2.6.3-ben2 Locale: LANG=en_AU, LC_CTYPE=en_AU
Bug#241405: ITP: nsca -- Nagios service check acceptor - a nagios addon
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name: nsca Version : 2.4 Upstream Author : Ethan Galstad <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * URL : http://www.nagios.org/ * License : GPL Description : Nagios service check acceptor - a nagios addon This program is designed to accept passive service check results from clients that use the send_nsca utility (also included in this package) and pass them along to the Nagios process by using the external command interface. The program can either be run as a standalone daemon or as a service under inetd. If you have libmcrypt installed on your systems, you can choose from multiple crypto algorithms (DES, 3DES, CAST, xTEA, Twofish, LOKI97, RJINDAEL, SERPENT, GOST, SAFER/SAFER+, etc.) for encrypting the traffic between the client and the server. Encryption is important in this addon, as it prevents unauthorized users from sending bogus check results to Nagios. It is downloadable from http://www.nagios.org/download/extras.php. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.4 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (ignored: LC_ALL set to C)
