Yes. Why? :) There's no longer anything that prevents GATOS from working with the current DRM from DRI CVS, for which I provide drm-trunk-module-src. Ah, that's good news. Last time I tried, the GATOS DRI required a version of DRM older than those shipped by the kernel and X, so that their version was indeed required. I'll check that and surely close the ITP then :) Also, are you aware of the bugs being filed about the non-free microcode in the DRM? No, I'll look at that. You mean DRM from DRI or from GATOS ? Maybe the X source package could integrate the ATI.2 sources, and build a package for it ? IMHO the GATOS folks should really try to get their code merged... Sure that would be easier for everyone. But there's more than just DRI in their tree, and last time I checked, it looked like they had 2 branches: one with tv-in working, and one with tv-out working... in the meantime, the DDK is probably the best solution. Unfortunately apt-cache search ddk and other guesses do not help me much. In which package will I find it ? Regards, -- Yann Dirson[EMAIL PROTECTED] |Why make M$-Bill richer richer ? Bug#199874: Outstanding ITP - molmol
Justin Pryzby [EMAIL PROTECTED] schrieb: Do you still intend to package molmol for Debian? If so, please remember to keep the bugtracking system informed of progress and delays. Yes, I still intend to package it. There are two things that delay it: - There are some minor problems with lesstif. However this isn't really important, since it will probably have to go to non-free anyway, so I can use openmotif. - I am still awaiting a response from the copyright holders; with the current license, we need a permission to distribute modified versions. I hope they'll change it, but in any case I have to wait for a reaction. The interaction with the copyright holders hasn't been copied to the bug, because the main person involved actively refused to use electronic communication... In the meantime preliminary debs, and the ipfreeze one when it's available, are to be found at http://ydirson.free.fr/soft/debian/netfilter/ This perl script listens on the netlink device for packets that are passed by the firewall (QUEUE target). If a packet is sent, ipfreeze get the source IP and insert a new rule in the firewall that will destroy every packets coming from that IP. This rule is automatically removed after a user-definable period (usually 10 or 20min). -- Yann Dirson[EMAIL PROTECTED] |Why make M$-Bill richer richer ? Bug#132919: xsupplicant package
Hi Chris, I too have been creating packages of xsupplicant development releases, (plus a few CVS snapshots), in preparation for a sponsored upload. http://sym-link.com/~eevans/debian/unstable/xsupplicant/binary-i386/ I have been in contact with upstream, and am working with them on resolving several issues prior to any serious effort in getting it uploaded, (most of these changes will be in place in time for the 1.0 release of xsupplicant). Unfortunately, I was unaware of your ITP or I would have made some attempt at contacting you and avoiding overlapping efforts. I gather from your CC to 132919 that you are aware of my efforts and intend to proceed anyway. If this changes, let me know as I am still very interested in this packaging it. Thanks, -- Eric On Mon, Apr 12, 2004 at 09:27:09PM +0200, Chris Vanden Berghe muttered these words: I've created a test package of xsupplicant 1.0pre1.
