Package: wnpp

CueCard is a popular Windows flash card program designed to help
studying. It has a simple and intuitive interface and supports pictures
on cards and simple text formatting. Its smart study algorithm
dynamically adjusts card frequency for learned and problem cards, and
introduces new cards once the existing cards have been learned.

I am the author and am actively developing it it for Win32, but lack the
expertise to release a Linux version. The program is written in
portable wxWindows and has run under Linux in the past.

Description : Security v4l station w/ web frontend

ZoneMinder is a set of applications which is intended to provide a complete
solution allowing you to capture, analyse, record and monitor any cameras
you have attached to a Linux based machine. It is designed to run on kernels
which support the Video For Linux (V4L) interface and has been tested with
cameras attached to BTTV cards and also USB various cameras, it may well
work with more but I'm not made of cameras, please give me feedback if it
works with yours. It will work with both colour and black and white cameras,
either attached directly or accessed over a network. It is designed to
support as many cameras as you can attach to your computer without too much
degradation of performance. ZoneMinder also requires MySQL and PHP, as well
as a webserver such as Apache.

Bug#77705: info

2004-05-10 Thread Bartosz Fenski aka fEnIo
Hello everyone interested in this package.

I only want to say that first of all I have to package some c++ sdl
wrapper which is absent in Debian, so be patient ;)

Well in fact you're very patient... this game is being packaged for over
1200 days now ;)

Eventual sponsors really appreeciated. I'm not DD yet.

regards
fEnIo

Bug#248397: RFH: grub -- GRand Unified Bootloader

2004-05-10 Thread Robert Millan
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

GRUB is currently maintained collatively by the pkg-grub-devel team, which
is just me and Jason Thomas [EMAIL PROTECTED].

The package is growing both in features and number of users and takes more
work every time. We need more volunteers to participate in GRUB maintainance.

A simple task that would help much is merely lurking at the BTS, testing
patches, sorting out non-bugs, and noticing us when action needs to be taken
(such as adding a patch in new upload, close a bug, etc)

Bug#248415: ITP: libapache2-mod-auth-mysql

2004-05-10 Thread Matthew Palmer
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

This is not a normal ITP, but rather a placeholder. I'm planning on
updating libapache-mod-auth-mysql to also build an apache2-specific version
of the module. This will not introduce a new source package, just a new
binary one.
