Bug#256959: ITP: kdetrayproxy -- Enable KDE systray icons outside of KDE or when using another WM

2004-06-30 Thread Michael Biebl

Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name: kdetrayproxy
  Version : 0.2
  Upstream Author : Lubos Lunak [EMAIL PROTECTED]
* URL : http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=10660
* License : GPL
  Description : Enable KDE systray icons outside of KDE or when using
another WM

 KDE tray proxy is an auto-loaded KDED module that allows docking of KDE
 systray icons even without a window manager supporting the KDE tray
 protocol. It keeps systray icons working even when running KDE with other
 window managers.
 Additionally, it allows docking of KDE systray icons in the GNOME panel.

 If you want to try it you can find the package at:
 deb http://www.teco.edu/~biebl/debian/ unstable main

 I know that openbox contains a binary that intends to do the same.
 Unfortunately I never got it to work whereas this package works
 flawlessly for me. Besides, I didn't want to install a
 complete WM just for getting this kind functionality.

  Description : routes and manipulates audio from/to multiple sources

(Include the long description here.)

jackEQ is a tool for routing and manipulating audio from/to multiple
input/output sources. It runs in the JACK Audio Connection Kit, and
uses LADSPA for its backend DSP work, specifically the DJ EQ swh
plugin created by Steve Harris, one of jackEQ's main authors.
..
jackEQ is intended to provide an accessible method for tweaking the
treble, mid and bass of any JACK aware applications output. Designed
specifically for live performance, it is modelled on varous DJ mixing
consoles which the main author has used.
..
jackEQ wll allow sound as rich and powerful as Jackie O, as street
smart as Jackie Brown. jackEQ may be the first female entity in JACKs
realm. Is jackEQ more than you can handle?

Bug#68243: ITH: linphone

2004-06-30 Thread Samuel Mimram
Hello,

The original ITP for linphone has been filled more than seven years ago.
A few people have already proposed to maintain this package but nobody
has really done that yet.
That is why I intend to hijack the ITP for linphone which is quite a
useful program. I will wait ten more days to be sure that everybody is
fine with it and then I will feel free to have my package uploaded (I am
not a DD but I have already found someone willing to sponsor me).

Regards,

Samuel.
