Bug#258097: Beagle packaging progress
On Tue, 2004-11-23 at 22:54, Jose Carlos Garcia Sogo wrote: Thanks for your help. And the problem with that patch is that I don't know if building a module is enough, or it is a bit more intrusive. If not, that could be done (but I'm not very keen of maintaining a kernel patch) Cheers, -- Jose Carlos Garcia Sogo [EMAIL PROTECTED] signature.asc Description: Esta parte del mensaje está firmada digitalmente

Bug#279933: Acknowledgement (ITP: linuxsampler -- a free, open source pure software audio sampler with professional grade features)
There is a delay in packaging this software, by request from one of the authors Christian Schoenebeck writes : But as I told you, LinuxSampler is not yet ready for a serious release. We have to fix a disk streaming bug and fix an efficiency issue in the core synthesis algorithm, otherwise LS will not be capable to render a sufficient amount of voices. I just want to avoid prejudices. Again, it won't take long til we have fixed those two issues, so I think it's worth waiting for it.

Difficult items that you tend to forget quickly will be scheduled more often, while MemAid won't waste your time on things you remember well. This means your learning process becomes much more efficient, also because the neural network gradually adapts to your personal memory model. MemAid is quite similar to a proprietary program called SuperMemo. This package provides PyQT and Superkaramba frontends for MemAid. --- Received: (at 274605-close) by bugs.debian.org; 25 Nov 2004 04:17:55 + From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Nov 24 20:17:55 2004 Return-path: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Received: from newraff.debian.org [208.185.25.31] (mail) by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1CXB4t-0007TS-00; Wed, 24 Nov 2004 20:17:55 -0800 Received: from rdonald by newraff.debian.org with local (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1CXAvx-0002Dx-00; Wed, 24 Nov 2004 23:08:41 -0500 From: Jarno Elonen [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: lisa $Revision: 1.30 $ Subject: Bug#274605: fixed in memaid-pyqt 0.2.2-1 Message-Id: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sender: Randall Donald [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Wed, 24 Nov 2004 23:08:41 -0500 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-6.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,HAS_BUG_NUMBER autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: Source: memaid-pyqt Source-Version: 0.2.2-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of memaid-pyqt, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: memaid-pyqt_0.2.2-1.diff.gz to pool/main/m/memaid-pyqt/memaid-pyqt_0.2.2-1.diff.gz memaid-pyqt_0.2.2-1.dsc to pool/main/m/memaid-pyqt/memaid-pyqt_0.2.2-1.dsc memaid-pyqt_0.2.2-1_i386.deb to pool/main/m/memaid-pyqt/memaid-pyqt_0.2.2-1_i386.deb memaid-pyqt_0.2.2.orig.tar.gz to pool/main/m/memaid-pyqt/memaid-pyqt_0.2.2.orig.tar.gz A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached. Dstat overcomes some of the limitations of these programs and adds some extra features. Dstat allows you to view all of your network resources instantly, you can for example, compare disk usage in combination with interrupts from your IDE controller, or compare the network bandwidth numbers directly with the disk throughput (in the same interval). Dstat also cleverly gives you the most detailed information in columns and clearly indicates in what magnitude and unit the output is displayed. Dstat is also unique in letting you aggregate block device throughput for a certain diskset or network bandwidth for a group of interfaces, i.e. you can see the throughput for all the block devices that make up a single filesystem or storage system. Dstat's output, in its current form, is not suited for post-processing by other tools, it's mostly meant for humans to interprete real-time data as easy as possible. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C --- Received: (at 281331-close) by bugs.debian.org; 25 Nov 2004 04:24:43 + From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Nov 24 20:24:43 2004 Return-path: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Received: from newraff.debian.org [208.185.25.31] (mail) by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1CXBBS-0007zv-00; Wed, 24 Nov 2004 20:24:43 -0800 Received: from rdonald by newraff.debian.org with local (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1CXB5I-0002ij-00; Wed, 24 Nov 2004 23:18:20 -0500 From: Andrew Pollock [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: lisa $Revision: 1.30 $ Subject: Bug#281331: fixed in dstat 0.5.2-1 Message-Id: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sender: Randall Donald [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Wed, 24 Nov 2004 23:18:20 -0500 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-6.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,HAS_BUG_NUMBER autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: Source: dstat Source-Version: 0.5.2-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of dstat, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: dstat_0.5.2-1.diff.gz to pool/main/d/dstat/dstat_0.5.2-1.diff.gz dstat_0.5.2-1.dsc to pool/main/d/dstat/dstat_0.5.2-1.dsc dstat_0.5.2-1_all.deb to pool/main/d/dstat/dstat_0.5.2-1_all.deb
