ProxyCommand connect -H firewall:8080 %h 443

  usage: connect [-dnhst45] [-R resolve] [-p local-port] [-w sec]
[-H [EMAIL PROTECTED]:port]]
[-S [EMAIL PROTECTED]:port]]
[-T socks-server:[port]]

Connect is the simple relaying command to make network
connection via SOCKS and https proxy. It is mainly intended to be
used as proxy command of OpenSSH. You can make SSH session beyond
   the firewall with this command,

   Features of connect are:
 * Supports SOCKS (version 4/4a/5) and https CONNECT method.
 * Supports NO-AUTH and USERPASS authentication of SOCKS
 * Partially supports telnet proxy (experimental).
 * You can input password from tty, ssh-askpass or environment
   variable.
 * Run on UNIX or Windows platform.
 * You can compile with various C compiler (cc, gcc, Visual C,
   Borland C. etc.)
 * Simple and general program independent from OpenSSH.
 * You can also relay local socket stream instead of standard
   I/O.

Description: Validate parameters to Perl method/function calls
The Params::Validate module provides a flexible system for validating
method/function call parameters. The validation can be as simple as
checking for the presence of required parameters or as complex as
validating object classes (via isa) or capabilities (via can),
checking parameter types, and using customized callbacks to ensure
 data integrity.
 .
The module has been designed to work equally well with positional or
named parameters (via a hash or hash reference).
 .
An attribute based implementation of this idea is also included as
Attribute::Params::Validate, but it doesn't currently have all the
features of the non-attribute version, and its use in production
 systems is not recommended.

Architecture: i386
Version: 1.41-1

Size: 8092
MD5sum: 046dfe55354e1041e8d1d7d0fb61ff2b
Description: Add or remove SCSI devices by rescanning the bus.
scsiadd allows you to add or remove SCSI devices without having to restart
the computer. This is *NOT* a substitute for powering down to connect or
disconnect hardware unless it's specifically designed to be hot swappable.
Use it to enable the external SCSI drive you only use occasionally so is
powered off when the machine first boots, or to rescan the bus after moving
hot-swap drives around. scsiadd will also try to prevent you from doing
anything to disrupt drive names that are in use.
Similar functionality is available by echoing text to /proc/scsi/scsi

Justification: No activity in nearly a full year, no response to pings

Description : builds live backup trees, with branches for each day

The poor man's daily snapshot, glastree builds live backup trees, with
branches for each day. Users directly browse the past to recover older
documents or retrieve lost files. Hard links serve to compress out
unchanged files, while modified ones are copied verbatim. A prune
utility effects a constant, sliding window. Similar to pdumpfs; inspired
by Plan9.

Kexi is already packaged but only in experimental that's why the ITP is
not closed and the bug is tagged experimental

Description: A Visualization Tool for compiler graphs
The VCG tool reads a textual and readable specification of a
graph and visualizes the graph. If not all positions of
nodes are fixed, the tool layouts the graph using several
heuristics as reducing the number of crossings, minimizing
the size of edges, centering of nodes. The specification
language of the VCG tool is nearly compatible to GRL, the
language of the edge tool, but contains many extensions. The
VCG tool allows folding of dynamically or statically specified
regions of the graph. It uses colors and runs on X11.

Bug#253205: potracegui

2005-01-03 Thread Bartosz Fenski aka fEnIo
Hello Christoph.

Are you still working on potracegui package?
1.2 version has been released, and I still see that your latest package is
for 1.0 version.

If you could update it and send me an URL, I could check your package and
sponsor it for you, since I'm potrace maintainer.

regards
fEnIo

Bug#241936: Outstanding ITP - daemontools

2005-01-03 Thread Dariush Pietrzak
> Do you still intend to create this package? If so, please keep the
> bugtracking system informed of progress and delays. ITPs which are
as can be found on debian lists, deamontools has legal problems - tarball
is marked as being free, there are some issues regarding few files inside.
It is my intention to rewrite those files, but I think this means
changing the name of package.

Bug#187423: What's the status?

2005-01-03 Thread David Moreno Garza
Any status for the inclusion of gurlchecker in Debian?

Last ping was exactly one year ago, are you still packaging it? If not,
I'll be glad to maintain the software officially.
