owner 194021 ! thanks I packaged the actual version but it segfaults at least on x86. So this gets delayed quite a bit, as for now I lack time to track it down. Regards, Philipp Kern Debian Developer PGP.sig Description: This is a digitally signed message part
Bug#280165: dssi packages
Hi, A test dssi0.9-0 package is available from mentors.debian.net (http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/d/dssi/) I'd appreciate comments on the package layout; is it sane? I'm trying to make sure that the change to dssi-1.0 (when it happens) won't be painful and that apps compiled to use the 0.9 API won't try and load plugins from the 1.0 one. I think I've managed this. Enrique, my usual sponsor is busy and asked if, as you're the rosegarden4 maintainer, you'd be willing to sponsor this package. I intend to enter NM by the end of the month so it shouldn't be too long a sponsorship. If you haven't got time, Wesley (my usual sponsor) said he'd try and find time anyways. Anyways, any comments welcome, Cheers, Mark -- Mark Hymers, University of Newcastle Medical School Intercalating Medical Student (MBBS / PhD) signature.asc Description: Digital signature

I don't have that much free time and my interest in maintaing the really *bad* code for dh-make-perl faded in the last few months. The package description is: dh-make-perl will create the files required to build a debian source package out of a perl package. This works for most simple packages and is also useful for getting started with packaging perl modules. Given a perl package name, it can also automatically download it from CPAN. An Alioth project with an existing CVS is available and I'll add the next maintainer to the admin list. There are some bug reports, some easily solvable, others needing a rework of the whole code. I was planning to do a rewrite to get rid of the old, not very structured code, but never did so. Anyway, i'd be happy to give the package away to someone doing more for its users. Please contact me before actually adopting the package, thanks. Maybe this request will active the discussion again. See http://bugs.debian.org/258097 for what has been discussed about this so far. Basically the main blocker, inotify enabled kernels is gone. For now only -cil (mono support) for dbus and gmime2.1 are needed in Debian to put Beagle in the archives. Dbus has yet packages awaiting in NEW, and for gmime2.1 packages with that support should be easily added. I hope to have packages available during next week in a public site. Bug#299713: ITP: cvsfs -- Translator for transparent access to cvs repositories
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name: cvsfs Version : 0.1 Upstream Author : Stefan Siegl [EMAIL PROTECTED] * URL : http://cvsfs4hurd.berlios.de/cvsfs.html * License : GPL Description : Translator for transparent access to CVS repositories cvsfs is a Hurd translator providing transparent (read-only for now) access to CVS repositories by virtualizing the remote repository in the local file system. Once translated, the user can browse around in directories and view file contents by the means of standard GNU tools. Contrary to a usual cvs checkout, cvsfs only transmits the necessary data and not the whole source tree. This is somewhat similar to the cvsfs (http://cvsfs.sourceforge.net/) project for Linux using FUSE, modulo the usual differences. The binary package name is yet to be decided, pending a Hurd translator naming convention decision. enjoy, Michael -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#189122: I'm packaging groach
Just FYI, I'm packaging groach (#299724) which is an xroach clone but is GPL licensed, and has extra features like multiple themes. I suppose if xroach ever can be packaged, that'd be great, but I imagine groach is probably a suitable replacement as far as most people are concerned. =) -- Wesley J.
