 Do you still intend to adopt mysql-navigator? (This is just a ping,
 I'm not interested in adopting it myself.)

I haven't heard back from you, so I'm assuming you're no longer
interested. If you are, feel free to retitle the bug again.

I think we should remove icecast-client.

  * Orphaned for 1 year and 136 days.
  * Upstream rewrote it from scratch, and renamed it to ices:
http://www.icecast.org/ices.php
There are two flavors: ices0 for MP3, and ices2 for Ogg Vorbis.
ices0 has patent issues due to its ability to re-encode MP3s;
while it should be possible to package an unencumbered version,
no one expressed an interest:
http://lists.debian.org/debian-qa/2005/11/msg00054.html
  * ices2 does have a Debian package, and users will still be able to
stream Ogg Vorbis files and soundcard input.

Unless you can answer YES to these 3 questions, FreePBX can't go in

I believe that is the consensus. I have not used either and so am not
sure if icewmcp is considered a drop-in replacement. Also, you may want
to look at the bug oprhaning icemc. That package may also be a
candidate for removal if it is dead upstream or has been subsumed by

* more accurate coverage information through code linkage inference

* more convenient interface

2006-03-20 Thread Alexander Schmehl
Hi!

* Benjamin Sonntag [EMAIL PROTECTED] [060320 21:47]:

 * Package name: cipux
   Version : 3.2.9
   Upstream Author : Christian Kuelker [EMAIL PROTECTED]
 * URL : http://www.skolelinux.de/wiki/CipUX
 * License : GPL
   Description : CIPUX is a set of Perl CGI and scripts which function as
 a LDAP abstraction layer to provide users with a shell and webmin user,
 groups and machine administration interface.

Upstream (who is active in debian-edu, too) already created some
premilinary packages (would need some cleanup) available at [1].

There are two points I would like to mention:

1. According to upstreams packages, one part is a webmin module,
   depending on webmin. Debian curently has no webmin packages. Not
   sure if cipux is usefull with the webmin package disabled.
2. If I understood a mail on the german mailing list correctly [2], they
   plan to package cipux themself. So I think this should have been an
   ITP?

Bug#358003: ITP: ttf-dzongkha -- TrueType fonts for Dzongkha language

2006-03-20 Thread Christian Perrier
Quoting Drew Parsons ([EMAIL PROTECTED]):
  Package: wnpp
  Severity: wishlist
  Owner: Christian Perrier [EMAIL PROTECTED]

   This package includes fonts that are suitable for the display of the
  Dzongkha
   language.

 May I suggest for rare languages like this that you also mention in the
 description where the language comes from? (Bhutan in this case, isn't
 it?)

Well, I have one very little argument against doing so: why do it for
Dzongkha and why not do it for, say, French...:-)

I guess you may see the point: I don't want at all that Debian may
seem too condescendant towards Bhutan and/or Dzongkha native speakers
by feeling it's needed to explain what their language is while we
don't feel that need for other languages.

One may feel that's political overcorrectness, but experience shows
that respecting peoples feelings about their culture or language is
one of the key points for success in i18n.

On the other hand, it is pretty much obvious that most of the Debian
contributors and users don't actually know where Dzongkha is spoken
(yes, this is the national language of Bhutan).
