   I have started to work on its RC bug (#362292). I would be interested
  in working with you on this package or even adopt it if you are no
  longer interested in it.

 Well I'm still interested but out of time. Please take it if you want.
 And contact Ben Burton. He has some help to port it to newer python,
 afaik.

   OK. So I'm going to adopt it (I have just retitled 315289 to ITA).
   Of course your help is welcomed if you find time.

Bug#367654: ITP: gavl -- Gmerlin Audio Video Library

2006-05-17 Thread Free Ekanayaka
Package: wnpp

Owner: Free Ekanayaka [EMAIL PROTECTED]

* Package name: gavl
  Version : 0.2.4
  Upstream Author : Burkhard Plaum
* URL : http://gmerlin.sf.net
* License : GPL
  Description : Gmerlin Audio Video Library

 Gavl is short for Gmerlin Audio Video Library. It is a low level
 library, upon which multimedia APIs can be built. Gavl handles all
 the details of audio and video formats like colorspaces, samplerates,
 multichannel configurations etc. It provides standardized definitions
 for those formats as well as container structures for carrying Audio
 samples or Video frames.
 .
 In addition, it handles the sometimes ugly task to convert between
 all these formats as well as some elemtary operations (scaling, alpha
 blending etc).

Bug#300970: If anybody

2006-05-17 Thread Eddy Petrişor

Hello,

If anybody would like to try the packaging of this application I would
be glad to provide my modifications.

I haven't finalized it because there are some things missing:
- a sane versioning scheme (due to upsteam)
- debconf templates and automated configuration through debconf

Bug#335246: Django packaging

I've got some preliminary packages sitting in a debian repository at:

django

There are packages there of python-django-svn-trunk, python-django (the
last stable release, 0.91), a historical couple from the magic removal
branch and one snapshot package of trunk before magic removal was merged
in.

I plan on updating the trunk snapshots in the next week, and then I'll
get back to making the packaging as nice as possible, at the moment it's
reasonably good, and passes linda and lintian checks, but there's still
more to do.

Thanks,

Bug#236706: Some stability issues

2006-05-17 Thread Eddy Petrişor

Hello all,

I know that qingy is fine and dandy but I found out (when I made a
package of my own with 0.6.0) that qingy is quite unstable and
uninstalled it. At that time (August-September) I decided this was not
Debian material.

Is qingy as unstable as it was back then?
