Bug#383968: RFA: xtrkcad -- Model Train Track CAD Program

2006-08-21 Thread Bdale Garbee

I am not actively using xtrkcad. I believe the package is in good shape,
with no open bugs. However if someone else who actually uses the program
and is therefore more likely to pay attention to upstream development wants
to take over the package, I would be pleased to give it away.

Given that you were so kind to update the manpage, what about including

Yes, that was my idea: you can include the manpage in your futute
package, so that I will find next time I'll upgrade debian package.

We'll upgrade to man page as well.
Many thanks

I'll send you the updated version of tstat.
Once you have completed the debian package, we'll be pleased to link it
from the tstat home page. Can you please send us a link to it then?

Sure, I'll send you the link.

At compile time, I recieve some warning (list attached to this email):
since you're releasing a new version, it could be a good time to fix
those.

We already fixed most of them...

Bug#384097: ITP: xmmsctrl -- Small utility to control xmms from the command line

2006-08-21 Thread Sandro Tosi

Hi Eduard,

We already have xmms-shell. So what's the point?

I don't like so much xmms-shell (but that's just a personal feeling),
but xmmsctrl allows to goes x seconds ahead or back in the playing
song, feature I use a lot and xmms-shell doesn't provide (at least, it
seams to me).

Cheers,
Sandro

2006-08-21 Thread Alexis Bezverkhyy

I've just finished the package ffe! It builds with ptbuilder and a new
maintainer checked it for me.

The source package is here: http://anuemu.free.fr/debian/ffe/

Now I'll try to find a sponsor to add the package to the debian archive :)

Bug#362490: Please remove thai-system

reassign 362490 ftp.debian.org

Orphaned 4 months (MIA maintainer before that), no ITAs.

Uninstallable. One popcon install total.

It's merely a metapackage; no content. Easy enough to recreate should someone
actually care.

12 popcon installs, 2 votes. It's an address book applet; there are zillions of
alternatives. It was orphaned in February 2006 and has has no ITAs since. It's
also dead upstream.

Hi Jamie,

Two things to add to this ITP. One, Anibal wrote that he needs
to see the .dsc, .diff.gz and .orig.tar.gz files.

Hi Bart,
I emailed those files to him a few weeks ago, but didn't
get any response..

Sorry, I didn't get that message. I couldn't miss it because
I was expecting it. I couldn't find it in my mail archive.

Is there some other way I should submit them?

I suggest that you put these files online somewhere (maybe on
webmin.com ?) and post the link to the files here on this bug report.

Hi Bart,
The following files are now available for download :

DEB package: http://download.webmin.com/devel/deb/webmin_1.294_all.deb
DSC file:http://download.webmin.com/devel/deb/webmin_1.294.dsc
Original source: http://download.webmin.com/devel/tarballs/webmin-1.294.tar.gz

There is no diff, because the package doesn't change the original source
at all, it just places it into the correct directory.

In that case, there should be a diff with only the debian
directory in it.

I'll try to create debian packages out of the files available at:

http://download.webmin.com/devel/deb/
http://download.webmin.com/devel/tarballs/
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/webadmin/

 - Jamie

Best Regards,

Aníbal Monsalve Salazar

The maintainer has stated his desire to orphan this package in bug #378584.

The maintainer thinks that this package may no longer be of interest to anyone.
We'll see if anyone's interested in this package. If nobody's interested,
after a few months it will be removed.
