This is a dockable clock application for WMaker, BlackBox, E, SawFish etc. . . The features include gradient backdrop, anti-aliased hour, minute, second hands alpha-blended bubbles, real-time sprite engine, precision accuracy, and shows if you have unread mail (in the form of swaying weed blocking the day/month numbers). . Well, this is just your standard time dockapp. Top part has the clock face, bottom part has day of the week, followed by day, followed by month. Yellow hand counts seconds, green hand counts minutes, red hand counts hours. Few seconds after startup there are at least 32 bubbles floating up behind the clock face. There are 4 fishes randomly swimming back and forth. If you move your mouse inside the dockapp window, the fish will get scared and run away. If you compiled in mail checking (default), then whenever you get new mail in the file pointed to by the $MAIL variable, it will display green weed partially blocking the day/month counter, to remind you to read your mail. Consider it to be the program name, rather than the executable. If you can't tolerate this, recast the sentence to avoid beginning with the program name. I'm following the GNU coding standards: If a lower-case identifier comes at the beginning of a sentence, don't capitalize it! Changing the spelling makes it a different identifier. aa.exe follows the rigorous algorithms for reduction of Is it aa or aa.exe? Presumably the former in Debian. Fixed. input to aa.exe is by single line responses to programmed prompts. Capitilization again. I'm a little concerned about the short name for the package. However, if it's widely known in the field, it's probably okay. aa has been used for a long time. However, Ron Johnson [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote aa is really ambiguous I think this is a better argument. Why not name it astronomical-almanac? Seems a bit wordy. However I'm getting used to it. It would be more informative in a list of package names. Okay, I'll make the change. - Jim Van Zandt -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Fortunately it is not a problem here, since Steve Moshier is willing to license his work. The Debian package of labplot includes his cephes library which he licensed under GPL. Bug#350740: seamonkey build
Hello list, I built a version of seamonkey based on Jaldahar's version combined with the older mozilla 1.7.13 version (and some creative thinking of course). The result is a Seamonkey package that is split up in parts just like the old mozilla package. Let me elaborate a bit on the how and what here: I used to build .rpm packages for Mandriva. But since february I started using Debian Sid (Kanotix) full time. So I know how to build packages, a bit... Building this one took quite some effort as I am not familiar with the debhelper tools. But I managed to get it working the way I wanted. Now this version does still contain some lintian errors, and the rules file can probably be cleaned a bit further, but the program is working. Is anybody here interested in the files? regards, Hendrik-Jan Heins -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
