Hi, Frets On Fire depends on a library called amanith that is licensed under QPL, so it's not DFSG-free. According to upstream, they'll probably relicense it under GPL on october, when they publish a new version. I plan to maintain it collaboratively in the Debian Games Team SVN server, so your help is really welcome if you want to join :) Please tell me and I'll add you to the group.
