Bug#254649: marked as done (ITP: docbookwiki -- edit a DocBook document online)
Your message dated Mon, 30 Jul 2007 12:34:57 + with message-id <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and subject line Bug#254649: fixed in docbookwiki 0.9.1cvs-1 has caused the attached Bug report to be marked as done. This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with. If this is not the case it is now your responsibility to reopen the Bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith. (NB: If you are a system administrator and have no idea what I am talking about this indicates a serious mail system misconfiguration somewhere. Please contact me immediately.) Debian bug tracking system administrator (administrator, Debian Bugs database) --- Begin Message --- Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name: docbookwiki Version : 0.5 Upstream Author : Dashamir Hoxha * URL : http://doc-book.sourceforge.net/homepage * License : GPL Description : edit a DocBook document online DocBookWiki can also be used to edit a DocBook document online, from the web. Editing will be done one section at a time, so the editor selects first the section that he wants to edit, and then edits it. He can edit it in several modes: text (like wiki), xml (the original format), html, latex, texi, etc., whichever is more suitable for him. The changes, however, are always saved in the XML(DocBook) format. Authentication of the editors (with username, password) can be enabled as well, if necessary. Also, different editing permissions can be assigned to them as well. It allows the viewers of a document to download the document in other formats, like PDF, RTF, Plain HTML, LaTeX, PS, etc. which can be generated automatically from the DocBook format. DocBookWiki will also try to keep a history of all the modifications made to the document, by keeping the document chunks in CVS, and so keeping track of all the changes. The features of DocBookWiki can be summarized like this: * Can display a DocBook document online. * Can display several documents at once (a list of books). * Can display each of them in several languages. * Allows to edit a certain section of a certain book in a certain language. * Editing can be done in several modes, like text, html, xml, texi, latex etc. * The basic format is always DocBook (XML), no matter how it is displayed or edited. * Each document (in each language) can be converted automatically into other formats (like PDF, RTF, LaTeX, etc.) for downloading. * All the history of modifications is kept (in CVS) and any previous versions of a document can be recovered (by tag or by date) by the admin of the site. In short, DocBookWiki will be like a wikiwiki which saves the content in XML (DocBook) format. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (499, 'testing'), (50, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.22 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (ignored: LC_ALL set to [EMAIL PROTECTED]) --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- Source: docbookwiki Source-Version: 0.9.1cvs-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of docbookwiki, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: docbookwiki_0.9.1cvs-1.diff.gz to pool/non-free/d/docbookwiki/docbookwiki_0.9.1cvs-1.diff.gz docbookwiki_0.9.1cvs-1.dsc to pool/non-free/d/docbookwiki/docbookwiki_0.9.1cvs-1.dsc docbookwiki_0.9.1cvs-1_all.deb to pool/non-free/d/docbookwiki/docbookwiki_0.9.1cvs-1_all.deb docbookwiki_0.9.1cvs.orig.tar.gz to pool/non-free/d/docbookwiki/docbookwiki_0.9.1cvs.orig.tar.gz A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached. Bug#406864: two more+last small remarks..
Hi Nicolas, I was wondering if I should fix those issues myself and just upload, or leave them to you. I decided to do that :) Please, - add (Closes: #406864) somewhere in debian/changelog - change the version numbering to something with a proper/better debian revision, i.e. 0.001-desrev-3 (instead of desrev3) - but now you should make it -4 :-) desrev is not part of the debian version. you could also use 0.001-desrev7-4 or 0.0.desrev-2007.05.08-4 (the upstream version 0.001 does not really exist anyway, or?) or whatever :) file:///usr/share/doc/debian-policy/policy.html/ch-controlfields.html#s-f-Version has all the details, if you have debian-policy installed :) That's it. Cheers :-) If you happen to be to busy to do the changes yourself, tell me which version you prefer and I'll create a -4 and upload. Otherwise point me to a -4 and I'll upload :) regards & thanks, Holger -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Bug#421816: status?
Hello, what is the status of this ITP? OpenAIS is a required component for the new upstream version of the redhat cluster suite. We would like to update rh-cluster ASAP as the current version does not work with kernels newer than 2.6.20, and for this we want to have the maintainership of all concerned packages in the kernel team. Bug#435137: ITP: sa-learn-cyrus -- wrapper for sa-learn (from spamassassin) reading spam/ham messages from cyrus-imapd mailboxes
Hi Benjamin, On Sun, Jul 29, 2007 at 08:25:03PM -0400, Benjamin Seidenberg wrote: > I haven't looked at this, and I'm curious how it's different (since I > use sa-learn on my cyrus folders) but maybe this would be better if it > were integrated into either the spamassasian or cyrus packages, in > /usr/share/doc//examples I talked about this with the upstream author to have a more appropiate opinion. He answered me with a few differences to sa-learn which I would like to describe here: * sa-learn-cyrus is able to work on a specified list of mailboxes and can search for mailboxes itself. That way they can be selected by regular expressions. * sa-learn-cyrus is made to be run regularly (e.g. by cron). It corrects for example permissions of bayes database if necessary. * Mails which are given to sa-learn can be deleted in the mailbox (optional). Concerning your idea to integrate it into SA oder Cyrus packages: I think this is kind of difficult because sa-learn-cyrus is just useful when you have both of them installed. So where to pack it? A single package for it depending on both SA and Cyrus seems to be better for me. Beyond that the upstream author wrote that he made sa-learn-cyrus to work on site-wide bayes databases but it should be able to work on user specific ones, too. I don't really know how this differs from sa-learn but he had that as an argument... ;) So well, after all it's not my decision whether to make packages for it or not but I think it's a good tool for Cyrus admins who are using SA and I guess it should imho be packaged independent of SA or Cyrus. Feel free to comment on this! Hauke PS: Again CC-ing the rest of the Debian Cyrus team for their opinions signature.asc Description: Digital signature
