Bug#437897:
retitle 437897 New version of no-ip released (2.1.6) thanks I have packaged the new version of no-ip (noip-2.1.6) from upstream. I honestly didn't know this package was in Debian. I was looking for a package which had either the source name which is noip or the binary name which is noip2. I didn't think of looking for any package named no-ip. The changes that I've made are as follows. [ Andres Mejia ] * New release of noip-2.1.6 packaged. * Closing bug 437897 (Closes: 437897) + Didn't realize that a package for no-ip existed (was looking for noip or noip2 which reflected upstream source name or binary name. + This will also mean the whole package was remade from scratch. * Build depends on debhelper (= 5), po-debconf, and quilt now. * Patch is modified to use /etc/noip2.conf to reflect package name. * Using debconf for configuration (Closes: 328842) + Added ${misc:Depends} for debconf. + Added po-debconf support. * Added postrm script to remove configuration data file when removing package. * Will use logcheck.ignore. * Will adapt init script used upstream for distribution with Debian. + Script that is used will be under debian/noip2.init. * Renamed binary package from no-ip to noip2 to reflect binary that is made. + Added a Provides: no-ip line for less confusion. * Using description from previous releases in debian/control. * Changed compat from 4 to 5. -- Regards, Andres Mejia -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Debian bug tracking system administrator (administrator, Debian Bugs database) ---BeginMessage--- Package: wnpp Severity: normal I intend to orphan the imediff2 package. The package description is: Imediff2 lets you merge two (slightly different) files interactively with a user friendly full screen interface on a text terminal. In other words, it is an ncurses based replacement for sdiff. . The program shows the differences of given files (in color if the terminal supports them), lets you scroll up and down and toggle changes between the old and new versions of the differing hunks one by one. . Unlike split screen based merge tools, it shows only one, partially merged, version of the file at a time, making it more WYSIWYG, perhaps more intuitive for beginners and most importantly, suitable for narrow terminals. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.20-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash ---End Message--- ---BeginMessage--- Source: imediff2 Source-Version: 1.1.2-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of imediff2, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: imediff2_1.1.2-1.diff.gz to pool/main/i/imediff2/imediff2_1.1.2-1.diff.gz imediff2_1.1.2-1.dsc to pool/main/i/imediff2/imediff2_1.1.2-1.dsc imediff2_1.1.2-1_all.deb to pool/main/i/imediff2/imediff2_1.1.2-1_all.deb imediff2_1.1.2.orig.tar.gz to pool/main/i/imediff2/imediff2_1.1.2.orig.tar.gz A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached. Bug#432253: libmediawiki-perl
2007-07-08 I opened a RFP for libmediawiki-perl, and Michael Mende some days later marked it as ITP, so long so good. But I have not seen any progress of this package, so I tried to mail MM, but probably by some missconfigured mail thingi, the mail could not get to him. Michael, if you are reading this, are you still in progress of packaging libmediawiki-perl, or could we start packaging it? Hash::Case, Hash::WithDefaults and Config::IniHash are allready in the SVN, so you don't need to care about those. -- /Carl Fürstenberg [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Bug#438683: ITP: libconfig -- simple library for manipulating structured configuration files
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Julien Danjou [EMAIL PROTECTED] * Package name: libconfig Version : 1.1.3 Upstream Author : Mark Lindner * URL : http://www.hyperrealm.com/libconfig/libconfig.html * License : LGPL Programming Lang: C, C++ Description : simple library for manipulating structured configuration files libconfig is a simple library for manipulating structured configuration files. The file format is more compact and more readable than XML. And unlike XML, it is type-aware, so it is not necessary to do string parsing in application code. The library includes bindings for both the C and C++ languages. It works on POSIX-compliant UNIX systems (GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, Solaris, FreeBSD) and Windows (2000, XP and later). Currently there's already a libconfig in Debian, that seems unmaintained and not used. I don't know yet what I'm going to do ; maybe ask the maintainers if he thinks we can remove it. -- Julien Danjou // Λ̊ [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://julien.danjou.info // 9A0D 5FD9 EB42 22F6 8974 C95C A462 B51E C2FE E5CD // And thinking so much differently. signature.asc Description: Digital signature
