Bug#449105: RFA: qa-assistant

2007-11-02 Thread Steffen Joeris
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

Hi

I would like to find someone else for the qa-assistant package.
There is one open bug, which needs to be investigated.

Here are some more information:

Description: checklist assistant
 QA Assistant is a program that aids in quality assurance.
 It creates a graphical checklist from an XML description.
 A reviewer fills in the checklist and then the program
 outputs a review for submittal to a tracking system.
 .
 Web site: http://developer.berlios.de/projects/qa-assistant/
Python-Version: current

Please take good care of the package, if you adopt it.

Cheers
Steffen

Out of curiosity: What does natpmp have in common with upnp, and where
are the differences?

Bug#449033: RFP: chandler-server -- Rich web variant of Chandler Desktop

2007-11-02 Thread Bernd Zeimetz
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name: chandler-server
  Version : 0.7
  Upstream Author : http://www.osafoundation.org/
* URL : http://chandlerproject.org/Developers/WebHome
* License : Apache Software License, Version 2.0
  Programming Lang: Java (Tomcat)
  Description : Rich web variant of Chandler Desktop

Chandler Project is an open source, standards-based personal information
manager (PIM) built around small group collaboration and a core set of
information management workflows modelled on Inbox usage patterns and
David Allen's GTD methodology.

Chandler Server implements a rich web variant of Chandler Desktop.
Chandler Server acts as a multi-protocol data hub to shared Chandler
data, making it available via iCalendar/webcal, CalDAV, WebDAV and Atom.
Chandler Server is also known by its original project name, "Cosmo".

As Java is almost completely out of my focus I'd be happy if somebody
could package this.

Thanks,

Bernd

Bug#449031: RFP: chandler-desktop -- Personal Information Management application

2007-11-02 Thread Bernd Zeimetz
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name: chandler-desktop
  Version : 0.7
  Upstream Author : http://www.osafoundation.org/
* URL : http://chandlerproject.org/Developers/WebHome
* License : Apache License
  Programming Lang: Python
  Description : Personal Information Management application

Chandler Project is an open source, standards-based personal information
manager (PIM) built around small group collaboration and a core set of
information management workflows modelled on Inbox usage patterns and
David Allen's GTD methodology.

The Chandler Desktop application manages calendar events, task items,
messages, notes and other types of personal information. Chandler
Desktop can publish its data to a Chandler Server. Chandler Desktop is
also a WebDAV, CalDAV, and iCal/webcal client.

I don't have the time to package Chandler soon, so I hope somebody else
is willing to take care of it. I'll happily help out with any problems
if the packaging is done within the Python Apps Team.

Cheers,

Bernd

Bug#448733: 0.8.6 missing

2007-11-02 Thread Luca Bruno
Anyway it seems that latest dillo v0.8.6 is available upstream but not
yet packaged, so it should be worthwhile to upload it (as the latest
gtk1 version) and perhaps going through the list of bugs to forward
upstream available patches.

Moreover, I'm seeing some activities recently on the dillo2 branch,
which could mean that this project is not really and completely dead.

Cheers, Luca

Anyone adopting Dillo should also keep in mind that upstream is
basically dead, or at least in a very deep freeze.
