Bug#345547: upstream 0.9.3 and patches needed to compile it
Hi I have been playing with this modem (bewan usb) during last week on my family's computer (ubuntu) As said at : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unicorn/+bug/945 I built a new package with new upstream 0.9.3 and patches needed to compile it under debian unstable or ubuntu gutsy, see : http://rzr.online.fr/q/unicorn If noone want to adopt this package, I can take it until someone else wants to take care of, because it's complicated for me to test it since I don't have the hardware handy... Anyway I'm looking for some uploader for NMU or a mentee upload ? contact me and I upload it to : mentors.debian.net Regards -- # mailto:rzr[a]users.sf.net -- gpg:0x467094BC # http://rzr.online.fr/contribs.htm -- Libre Software Addict # xmpp:rzr[a]jabber.fr -- sip:rzr[a]ekiga.net signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature

Future Debian package candidate web pages: present and future
Hello! The two web pages Packages being worked on [1] and Requested packages [2] have several shortcomings: * No sorting by age * No importance/popularity tag of packages * No combined requested-or-worked-on (== not packaged) view * No easy status indicator, e.g. license issues, upstream without maintainer, ... Measuring popularity could be done either explicitly (e.g. through votes) or implicitly (e.g. through counting the number of people replying to a request). With these features those pages would show better what packages ... * are potentially easy to package, therefore suitable for motivated Debian rookies * are really wanted * are important though hard to package * catching dust already I think that a bit more infrastructure could do a lot here, e.g. increase the package-per-minute rate. Please let me know ... * what you think * how it can be done * how I can help. Yes, it's bullet list Wednesday :-) I hope to hear of you soon, Sebastian [1] http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/being_packaged [2] http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/requested -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
