Bug#462740: ITP: demac -- A decoder for Monkey's Audio (APE) lossless files

2008-01-26 Thread William Pitcock
Hi,

demac has some bugs with v3.97 format files. I would recommend merging
in patches from ffmpeg and making a seperate product.

Bug#406335: Update

2008-01-26 Thread Marcos Marado

Hi there,

Just to tell that nowadays the problem I used to have with the graphics is gone,
but now I have one other (which I suspect is upstream): sometimes, related with
network slowness perheaps, my screen goes almost black and processor tops: I
only see the mouse cursor move, but I can't even switch from X (CTRL+ALT+F1 or
something won't work).

Anything I can tell you to help debug or reportbug this more properly?

Best regards,
Marcos Marado

Hmm, AFAIK the utils package replaces the old 13 examples, and the binaries
there are linked to the SO 22 and not 13. So, you could replace the 13
examples.

Will the fprint packages be uploaded to unstable/experimental soonishly

Description: [EBOOK-DEV] Recommendations of the W3 (Pseudo-Package)
This package pulls in all w3-recs* packages. Recommendations are
divided on a per-year base, in order to minimize downloading time.
 .
W3 forum issues many recommendations every year, but this packaging
style has been started in 2002, so there is a single giant-package
for all RECs up to year 2001 (which is named w3-recs) and all other ones
are collected in one package per year.

Hi

I'm now orphaning this package. The reason is not that it is
hard to maintain (no bugs in a long time). It is that I have
no hardware that support SVGA output in a good way so I can
not test this package.

I therefore let over this package to someone else that can
support it better.

I will probably help with QA work for it when it below to the
QA group if no one else have the time for that.

Regards,

// Ola
