My comment location was a bit confusing. As long as new tool is better maintained and have less problem (floating servce handling, protection from system shutdown with multiple key inputs, ) I would love to get new tool. I am curious too. When packaging this new tool, please check if this new tool suffer proplem reported to sysv-rc-conf. Osamu -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Hmmm. Being honest, most of the work would have to be done not by me but by the co-maintainers. Therefore, I think it is better to have a clean cut and a new maintainer (who has enough time) than having co-maintainers and not doing any work. :-( But having the Debian Games Team as the maintainer of the package would make sense. And asking me questions is free(tm). Regards Philipp

I simply wanted to know, why Peter considers it superiour to other alternatives and if I should reconsider using sysv-rc-conf (which I have used and recommended to others up until now). If insserv is really enabled by default for lenny, and chkconfig is the only tool working properly with insserv, then we should recommend chkconfig over other tools. Bug#468418: cropper compatibility

BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY CHANGE !! 356 357 If you have code that looks like this: 358 $('id').setStyle({'font-size': '12px'}); 359 You need to replace it with either of the following: 360 $('id').setStyle({fontSize: '12px'}); 361 $('id').setStyle('font-size: 12px;'); which seems to match these: cropper.uncompressed.js:$( this.imgWrap ).setStyle( { 'width': this.imgW + 'px', 'height': this.imgH + 'px' } ); cropper.js:$(this.imgWrap).setStyle({"width":this.imgW+"px","height":this.imgH+"px"}); But maybe it's just about the 'font-size' attribute and not a general syntax change? (I don't really know anything about javascript, which is why I'm so glad for others to handle these libraries.) Bug#244582: ufo:ai - license problems and packaging
Hi, nice to see some progress here to get ufo:ai into debian! The main problem with ufo:ai is not getting packaging bugs fixed IMHO. First there are a lot of license problems to solve, so I decided to wait until those got fixed before trying to push ufo into debian repos. The main problem with ufo:ai is that nobody of the "old team" that started the game is active anymore so there are (mainly textures) with unknown sources. The ufo:ai-team decided to audit the hole thing. You can find a lot of svn:license tags ;) There is a slow prorgess [0] but there are still more than 300 textures to be replaced [1] so if you know some artist or one yourself and got some spare time please thing about helping out.
