Yes, they will agree do deactivate it on any devices that get broken by it such as the "Option GSM modem" (i.e. that don't work as GSM modems while the cdrom emulation is enabled). Without a way to issue the flash-write commands to burn a new ISO into the cdrom emulator on the GSM modem, it is pretty useless to Linux users, so it shouldn't be too dificult to get a generic patch that avoid usb-storage to bind to GSM modems merged, and selectively let usb-storage bind to a GSM modem if anyone ever brings to our notice a GSM modem device that has anything useful to do with such an emulated cdrom. -- "One disk to rule them all, One disk to find them. Bug#516898: ITP: scheme9 -- Scheme 9 from Empty Space R4RS Scheme interpreter
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: "Barak A. Pearlmutter" * Package name: scheme9 Version : 2009.02.09 Upstream Author : Nils M Holm * URL : http://t3x.org/s9fes/ * License : ideosyncratic near-MIT/X Programming Lang: C, Scheme Description : Scheme 9 from Empty Space R4RS Scheme interpreter Scheme 9 from Empty Space is an interpreter for a broad subset of R4RS Scheme, and runs in many popular environments, including Linux, *BSD, the unmentionable horror, and Plan 9. The S9fES code strives to be simple and comprehensible. It is particularly interesting to people who want to (a) try Scheme without having to jump through too many hoops (S9fES is very portable); or (b) study the implementation of Scheme (in a language other than Scheme). A free online textbook describing the system is also available. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Bug#506770: RFP: relational -- Python implementation of Relational algebra
retitle 506770 ITP: relational -- Python implementation of Relational algebra owner ! thanks Hi, I plan to upload this package. Whilst upstream produce a .deb, a cursory look did not reveal the location to their source package. The release tarball also contains '.svn' directories, which is rather unfortunate. I hope to remedy both issues before uploading. Regards, -- ,''`. : :' : Chris Lamb `. `'` la...@debian.org `- signature.asc Description: PGP signature
Bug#516883: RFA: slashem
Package: wnpp Severity: normal I request an adopter for the slashem package. The package description is: Super Lotsa Added Stuff Hack - Extended Magic (SLASH'EM) is a role-playing game where you control a single character. The interface and gameplay are similar in style to Rogue, ADOM, Angband and, of course, Nethack. You control the actions through the keyboard and view the world from an overhead perspective. It has a somehow complicated build system, building the package multiple times with different build options to make multiple frontends. Upstream is kind of sleeping since december 2006. I think there is a handful of nethack's variants in the archive. They might be enough alike that some common packaging-team might be an idea, but I havn't the time to participate. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'oldstable'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#516881: RFA: nc6 -- TCP/IP swiss army knife with IPv6 support
Package: wnpp Severity: normal I request an adopter for the nc6 package. The package description is: A simple Unix utility which reads and writes data across network connections using TCP or UDP protocol. It is designed to be a reliable "back-end" tool that can be used directly or easily driven by other programs and scripts. At the same time it is a feature-rich network debugging and exploration tool. . Netcat6 is a rewrite of the original netcat with support for IPv6 and an enhanced support for UDP. Bug#516875: ITP: libxfce4menu -- freedesktop.org compliant menu implementation for Xfce

Could you please be a little bit more verbose. I had the (maybe wrong) assumption that xfce4 would be XDG-compliant without any additional packages. Or is it just that xfce4 4.6.0 is more modulized? If this is the case I would mention this in the long description to avoid confusion. On Mon, 23 Feb 2009, Petr Pudlak (Debian) wrote: as I was suggested, I'm looking for a sponsor for the "eprover" package, who would help me with publishing the package. If you are seeking for a sponsor it is a clever idea to post the URL to your *.dsc file to enable others to evaluate your work. ;-) I believe that Debian Science would be a proper place for it. Did you asked for an alioth account which might be added to debian-science team. Once this is done you are able to commit to SVN or Git - posting this location would be an alternative to the URL of the *.dsc file.
