I haven't had a UUCP setup it in a few years now, and I therefore haven't had any chance to ensure stuff is continuing to work. Apparently something in lenny broke in.uucpd (see #517726). I should have noticed this but I didn't. If somebody still uses UUCP it would be great if they could take care of it from now on. It isn't exactly a fast moving target, but as this instance has shown it helps if you actually use it from day to day (tho that probably isn't a hard requirement). Bug#500697: mootools repository
hi Daniel, I've already sent the package and it was rejected, because of several copyright related problems (with no claim of completeness): * One can't simply include LGPL code and distribute the result under MIT * The BSD license has not many restrictions, but you have to include the original copyright statement, which is not the case here. * It might be interesting what the author means by "Inspired by". Depending on the level of inspiration those sources need to be mentioned in debian/copyright, too I've not contacted upstream yet, but this week I'll work on the package. If it is really redundant then it is also a waste of upstream's time. OneSwarm uses source address rewriting to protect user privacy. Instead of always transmitting data directly from sender to receiver (immediately identifying both), OneSwarm may forward data through multiple intermedaries, obscuring the identity of both sender and receiver. OneSwarm’s interface is web-based and supports real-time transcoding of many audio and video formats for in-browser playback, eliminating the need for casual users to master a new application’s interface or search for custom media codecs. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#517912: RFP: clewn -- gdb support for the vim editor: breakpoints, watch variables, gdb command completion, assembly windows, etc.
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name: clewn Version : 1.14 Upstream Author : Xavier de Gaye * URL : http://clewn.sourceforge.net/ * License : GPL Programming Lang: C Description : gdb support for the vim editor: breakpoints, watch variables, gdb command completion, assembly windows, etc. Clewn implements full gdb support in the vim editor: breakpoints, watch variables, gdb command completion, assembly windows, etc. Features: * Breakpoints are highlighted in source code and in the assembly buffers. The highlighting includes the last two digits of the breakpoint number so that they can be easily identified. Disabled breakpoints are noted with a different highlighting color. When setting a breakpoint, clewn automatically finds the source file for the breakpoint if it exists, and tells vim to load and display the file and highlight the line. * An expression value or a variable value as provided by gdb, is displayed in a balloon in Vim, when the mouse pointer is hovering over the selected expression or the variable. * Assembly buffers hold the assembly code for functions that miss the source code and are being stepped through, or where breakpoints have been set. This feature can be enabled by an option of the clewn command line. * When there is no debugging information or source files and the assembly option has been enabled, clewn disassembles the function containing the breakpoint and vim displays and highlights its line. * Each time gdb displays a stack frame when the debuggee stops or when moving along the stack frame, clewn automatically finds the source file for that frame and tells vim to display the file and highlight the line. When there is no source code for the frame or when doing instruction stepping (stepi, nexti) the program counter line within an assembly window is highlighted if the assembly option has been enabled. * Any gdb command can be mapped to a vim key mapping. This allows, for example, to set or clear a breakpoint, or print a variable's value at the current cursor or mouse position in a vim window by just hitting a key. * You can send an interrupt from vim to gdb and the program it is running. * A variable can be dropped and watched in a vim window by pointing the mouse on the variable in the source code and hitting a key. The variable's value is updated and highlighted whenever changed. To remove a variable, just delete it from the vim window with a vim command or a keystroke. * Support of gdb command and file name completion. This also works while entering, in gdb, a gdb user-defined sequence of commands or a list of commands for a breakpoint. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#517906: O: uucp - unix to unix copy
Package: wnpp Severity: normal Hi, I'm orphaning uucp, the unix to unix copy program. Bug#516351: ITP: see -- lightweight Linux text file and manpage viewer
Mark Eriksen (the upstream author) here. My desire for the binary and package name would be "seetxt", which I have not been able to find any conflicts by googling. I will probably then also use a softlink to the binary, "seeman", which shouldn't conflict either. Regarding portability: GNU getline() is used, meaning it will not run on non-GNU systems, so to say it is generically POSIX might be a slight stretch. However, I can and will change this to something more generic as there is nothing crucial about the getline(). So, if someone can confirm that seetxt/seeman will be okay, I can make the necessary changes. Test::WWW::Mechanize::Catalyst allows you to test Catalyst web applications but does not start a server or issue HTTP requests. Instead, it passes the HTTP request object directly to Catalyst. Thus you do not need to use a real hostname: "http://localhost/"; will do. However, this is optional. The following two lines of code do exactly the same thing: Now when stable release is out it's time for cleaning some stuffs in Catalyst packages.
